Retro Pens, Set of 5, Multi (4308-A)

My kids got some of these pens in their x-mas stocking at their grandparent's house probably 2-3 years ago. I love pens, so I saw them and of course asked if I could use one, and fell in love. These pens write amazing and almost, at least to me, make my writing look better than it really is if that makes sense. It just looks neater. The grip on the pen is nice and just overall for a fine tip pen there awesome!

I have always loved this style of pen since I was a kid. Here we have them in some stylish colors that are referred to "retro" although I'm not sure what time period they could be referring to exactly. You can take them apart and mix and match the colors if you like too. Overall good quality and all write smooth with no issues. They arrived loose at the center but just had to tighten by hand. I'm finding that this must be done every so often. If you're a fan of this style of pen I would say go ahead and purchase. Priced fairly too.

I love these pens! I'm an obsessive pen buyer, so I have strong feelings about pens, haha. I bought these just because they were cute, but they write really well. Ball point, but nice and smooth and I don't have to press very hard. Will be buying again!

Typical "Good from far, but far from good." The positives of these retro pens are 1) they write fine, and 2) they look cool. The negatives are 1) they're made of very cheap plastic, 2) they're not constructed well. One of my five pens doesn't engage into writing mode at all. I've taken it apart to investigate what's wrong and the inner plastic is broken. I've already used other pens in the group so I can't make a return. The set should be priced at maximum $7.50 for five. Certainly not $17. I ordered one other product from this brand and while I like the product, it too was not good value for my money. I'm going to steer clear from Kikkerland in the future.

my daughter turned me onto this pen. i love the fit in my hand, i love the colors, and the way it writes. reminds me of quality of days gone bye. what more do you want, oh, cost,... its not as expensive as a pelican, or montblanc, enough? Just try them, if you still enjoy writing, if your reading this review because your actually write letters, notes, cards, or journals, and everything in your life is not digital, then give this a try, i do not think you will be disappointed. the down side. i have one of the five that gave me a bit of a fit with the retraction of the pen. I carry the pen in my pocket and it very well could be lint from my jeans or carhartt khakis. The only other down side is when this pen runs out of ink and you realize its a throw away, you will swear its a heirloom, meant to be passed to your children. try this pen if your going to have someone read what you have written. jc
