Poor packaging
Rice came in a large box with another item, they did not wrap it or protect it. By the time I got it, it was opened and rice was all over the box. When I picked it up, the rice went flying everywhere through the cracks. Amazon did accept my return as it was damaged. But after tasting this rice it was great, very sticky and tasted so good. Great quality rice. It’s a bit expensive but great for mango rice. Took about 50 min in my rice cooker.

My favorite brand for decades
I love this product. I live in an area where finding Japanese sticky rice in my town that has 4 major supermarkets: Safeway, Lucky's, Raley's, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. Not *one* of them sells "sweet Japanese rice." You know, the kind used for making Mochi. I either have to drive out and back (a two hour endeavor including shopping aisle time which ends up including stocking up the Asian side of my pantry) or order it from Amazon.

Short grain sweet rice
Exactly the type of sweet rice needed for my CNY recipe. It came next day. Couldn't get to a market in ctown or my hmart. A year to use until expiration date. Quality of the rice is good, no broken pieces. The price could be a few dollars less.
