A study book
This is a book to learn and study for the WOCN test. The practical information on what dressing do, to the description of the atypical wounds, is what every wound care nurse should know. I have the previous edition and this edition. I do suggest this book over and over as the book to have in your collection.

As an educator, clinician and expert witness in the field of wound care I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I have had the last three editions and each one is better than the last. There is no other text, in my opinion, which is better than this for practising clinicians or educators in the field of wound care.

Ich fand ja schon die 4. Auflage wirklich gut, aber die 5. Auflage ist noch besser. Die Themen werden ausführlich bearbeitet und das Buch enthält essentielle, gut beschriebene Informationen und Fakten rum um das Thema Wundtherapie. Ich kann das Buch nur empfehlen.

Book informative enough but the words are way too small. I’m not sure if this was compressed as they probably attempted to make it in pocket sizes! I’m happy enough with the purchase but the inconvenience of having to purchase a magnifying lens with this item is a bit of a hassle. Reading glasses not good on its own.
