Great phone
I have to say I'm really happy I spent a little bit more than I usually do to get this phone. Any potential buyer should note that this phone only takes a micro sim card - mine was regular sized so I had to run down to my provider to buy a smaller one. After a few weeks of usage most of my phones enter dinosaur mode, but not this one, I've installed all of my apps on it and it still runs like a champ. It handles Pokemon GO with the best of them. The battery doesn't last too long, maybe like 8 hours of actual use, if that, but it will still last a whole day if you're not on it the whole time. The huge amount of disk space on it is awesome and it's just fast in general. Fast enough to handle a lot of modern apps. The touch pad on the back works great, I love using it to open my phone. My only little nitpick issue is that I can't seem to figure out how to make the keyboard have the numbers separate from the top row keys without making it into a ridiculous computer keyboard instead with even less buttons where I need them. Seriously, all I want is an additional row above the qwerty keys with the numbers and the qwerty keys can have other keys for the long press, specifically %, because I use that a lot and the punctuation menu from the period key isn't the most user friendly menu.

Do Not Buy - Breaks Down CONSTANTLY
The headline says it all. I've sent this in 3 times in the first year for warranty, now a fourth on the extension. It has given me nothing but headaches. I would give negative stars if it were an option, because it has literally added negative value to my life, costing me huge amounts of time and effort. When it works, it holds up pretty well, has great speakerphone, and has a nice feel. But you don't buy a car that will have to be in the shop half the time because it's made like crap. 1. Arrived with faulty SIM card slot (took forever to diagnose). Phone would randomly not have service or detect SIM half the time. 2. Fingerprint reader stopped working at about month 8. 3. At month 12, the entire phone bricked itself and would not hard reset. I am going to try to get a refund or a different phone sent back. This is nuts. What a royal waste of my time. **UPDATE!** 4. At month 14, the screen randomly developed a 4cm^2 patch of dead pixels! Sending it in a FOURTH time and buying a new phone since the refund route did not prove fruitful.

Stop reading and buy this amazing phone.
The best phone I've ever owned. I highly recommend you get the 32GB version Pros: 1. USB C with rapid charging and incredible transfer speeds 2. Amazing battery life 3. Pure google experience, I love me some vanilla android. Android N is really amazing. What a great experience. 4. Camera is wonderful. 120fps video is pretty impressive. Can be hacked to allow 240fps video (like the 6P) but the processor struggles. 5. Incredibly easy to unlock the bootloader. Fastboot is so convenient, no more hacking bootloaders and potentially bricking your devices. 6. Screen looks beautiful 7. Fingerprint scanner is phenomenal! Incredibly accurate and so very convenient. My finger naturally unlocks the phone when I remove the phone from my pocket. 8. SO CHEAP, best deal on a phone ever 9. Google FI rocks (if you have coverage). Heard great things about international travel. Cons: 1. No removable battery 2. No removable storage 3. Previously owned a 16GB Nexus 5X and the battery was wrecked after about 6 months.

Great phone by LG/Google
The LG Nexus 5X was my introduction to stock android, and oh boy, am I pleased with it. I have been a part of the android herd since I first bought a galaxy S5 and have experienced several operating systems and a range of device specs. Having said that, this device is really great. Pros +Runs stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This runs very fluidly on the device. The UI is snappy and colorful. +1080p Gorilla Glass 3: The screen looks great and is easy on the eyes, but can be bright when you need it. Also, it is fairly resistant to scratches from everyday use. +The camera takes excellent quality photos. The rear camera takes a 12.3 megapixel shot and has special modifications to make low light pictures maintain high resolution. +The selfie camera doesn't look bad, however I never use it. +The Battery life is pretty awesome. With a full charge, I can go all day with moderate to heavy usage (I get bored at work.) The Battery also quick charges so a few minutes of charging goes a long way. +The fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate. It is placed on the back of the phone for ease of use. Most people rest their hand naturally in this fashion on the phone so it is snappy to unlock. Cons -The phone itself is plastic and feels kind of cheap in the hands. The upside to this is that the material it is made out of gives you a good amount of grip while holding the phone. -The loudspeaker on the phone sounds cheap and tinny and doesn't carry a lot of bass. This is expected, however, from a budget phone and doesn't bother me personally. I have many bluetooth devices I connect to. -As always, there is no removable storage and this is a bit of an inconvenience. You have the option of purchasing a 16 or 32GB model and that is all you get. This will be plenty for most people day in day out. For movie enthusiasts this can prove a problem. -One of the only phones that uses USB type-C. This is kind of a problem because no local retailers sell this type of cord, and the cord that comes with the phone you cannot plug into a regular USB 2.0. I have not been able to sync anything to the phone yet, but I have downloaded music from google play. Overall: This is a great phone. I have had a lot of fun with it and my nerdy friends have been impressed by the stock android and simple efficiency of the device. They like to tote around their Note 5's while I rock my Nexus. For the price this is a great buy and one that I am very satisfied with.
