I took a class in college called "Animal Cognition" and used this book as it's main textbook. I loved it. This book can be a little tough to read sometimes but if you like biology or animal cognition and are willing to read journal-like books then it's great. I would recommend if you are interested in the subject matter because it is very advanced and has wonderful information that will open your mind to the subject.

This isn't a light-hearted read. It is intellectual and academic but it is as the topic should be. It's not a hard read. It's short too. Only 123 pages of content excluding references and indexes. It is a nice introduction and an easy read for someone wanting to get a glimpse into Cognition without slogging through a huge textbook.
