Good quality and quick delivery

Initially we added too much tea and the taste was very smokey and a bit overpowering compared to our usual green tea. When we added less tea it tasted much better, really happy as it will last longer than our usual brand and is much more economical buying in bulk.

I like this green tea but it takes a little getting used to compared to the expensive ones, you’ll only need to put half the amount in to get the same flavour as the more expensive ones so I suppose it’s a win win really, a nice quality for less than half the price of the trendy wannabe ones, I would buy again

A lovely change from normal tea.

I honestly never realised that green tea came from other tea growing countries apart from those in the far east, so you can probably understand my surprise at find this green tea from Sri Lanka. Even though people raved about green tea I always found it bitter when using boiling water. However after watching Nadiya Hussain on TV tasting various tea's with an expert totally changed my view of green tea, as you should not use boiling water. Apparently the bitterness is down to polyphenols ("tannins") which start to break down at 80C. The temperature the expert suggested was around 70-85C so after investing in a new kettle with temperature control gave it a try and what a difference, pleasant refreshing green tea, and no bitter taste. OK so that is the science, now to SRILUXE - Premium Quality Ceylon Green Tea. I wanted to try loose leave green tea instead of tea bags and found this tea from Sri Lanka, the price in comparison to many Chinese/Japanese teas was very reasonable when comparing weight to cost. Once brewed the leaves unravel and are large so managed to brew at 85C the flavour was superbly refreshing and mellow, a real eye opener with the taste, then 75C, leaving 2-3 minutes to brew. The flavour at 75C was slightly better. All in all I will be buying this tea again, it has become a favourite, thoroughly refreshing and a pleasure to drink.

This really a great tea, and a bang for your money, I’m never buying tea bags again, the flavour is intense and you don’t need much of it, it reminded me of the great teas from my childhood! This is the best tea I had in ages!

I use green tea to make kombucha. After trial & error, this is the best. No tiny bits at the end of the bag. Good clean taste. It makes the nicest kombucha from all that I've tried. Good value for such a premium quality tea

Pretty good quality and fragrant loose tea leaves. This convinces me that I also need to try their looseleaf black tea.

I'm not sure what they drink in Sri Lanka but this tea is just plain terrible supposed to be a green tea but this tea is as bitter as bitter can be the aftertaste is atrocious if it wasn't for the aftertaste maybe you could drink it but even after you take a drink the aftertaste reminds you of what you just drink to say the least you're going to have to dilute this tea to tone it down some we follow their directions and that didn't work out well I think I'm going to try it at what you would normally Brew green tea at and see how that does but this tea is a fail all the way around
