They’re alive!
I ordered on a Saturday and received them on Thursday. It was the hottest week and the mail carrier left the small package in our mail locker (think community mailboxes)… it was in the locker until the evening. I opened the package and thought for sure these little grains were dead due to the heat. I promptly rinsed them and put them in a cup of whole milk. 24 hours later, looked like nothing. Changed out the milk and waited another 24 hours. It worked! Milk kefir! So far so good!

Good to go
After starting a quick 24 warm batch to revitalize, I've split it into several batches for friends and good production and I'm on 3rd generation now by letting it do its thing in the fridge to prevent overpowering for a nice mild yogurt taste. I added a little maple syrup to it today and I don't even think I needed to.

Excellent definitely recommend !!!
It came exactly as I expected. Very protected bag. The amount was what it said in the information. I tripled my amount already. I only place my kefir in whole milk the best milk will double or triple in a very short time. I’m extremely satisfied and I really recommend to buy. The taste is very rich and excellent. Thank you.

Shipping problems
If they look dried out and you have milk to spare, give them a try. Kifir grains took 9 days shipping USPS. Arrived dried out, looked dead. No response from seller. Rinsed under water(non-chlorinated) spray vigorously. Added the grains in the center that looked maybe salvageable to milk as usual and changed the milk daily, picking out dried bits left the first few days. A week of wasted milk later some have survived and are making good Kifir!

Not as shown in Ad. Amount received is barely 1-2 tiny grains with a teaspoon of milk in a tiny plastic jewelry/ring size bag & limited directions. Vendor: pls post real photo of what you actually ship customers, and display your limited directions, so customers know what they're getting for your price.
