Belveder Icelandic Wild Cod Liver 120g Can

The best-tasting cod livers I have ever tried. The amount of cod liver oil is perfect. The color and texture of the liver are excellent. They taste nice and fresh, not old like some brands. They are the best quality I have tried. They are far too pricey, so I only get them once a year, but I do enjoy them, and the healthiness is also desirable.

Tastes like pate spread. Got this because I wanted something with high vitamin A content which I was not getting a whole lot of in my diet. Has a lot of omega-3 and vitamin D as well which is good for the body. No fish bones in here like you find in sardine cans. Does have a high calorie count for a small amount of food which might be something that some people may want to look out for.

I love the taste of the Belveder Cod Liver! I’ve been skeptical for even trying cod liver but I’m glad I finally did. I wanted a healthy food source to get more Vitamin A into my diet. The quality is great, the cans are packed full, the smell is a little fishy but not in a bad way. I feel the price is a bit higher than I like. The only downside at no fault to the company, is histamine issues. I am very sensitive to histamine and can meat products are known to be high in histamine.

I’m new to COD liver - just started consuming about 6 months ago for health benefits. When the price jumped up on the other brand (Riga Gold), I decided to purchase this. The quality of the fish in this brand appears to be a little better. (Big piece of fish, nice color, no dark spots, packed full.). *BUT* this product is packed in a mix of oil and JUICES. It is clearly labeled so, so it’s not deceptively marketed. The quality is great - and the taste is delicious. But I will probably return to the other brand for better health benefits. The other tin contains *THICK* oil and lists the amount of EPA and DHA Omega 3. This product contains little oil in comparison and does not list omega content. The other contains 22.92 mg of Vit D, while this is just 1 mCg. I’ll enjoy it - but probably switch back.

It is a good item, very healthy and perhaps only a man can eat it- It doesn't taste bad at all... but some people can't swallow it. LOL... It's very healthy and tasty. Try it with lemon juice

Love it. It was not sure about it before since I am sensitive to fishy stuff. However, this liver, you can hardly taste any fishy smell and it is very fresh. You can tell it is not super processed and you are getting natural nutrients from the liver and oil. It is a good size for a filling breakfast. The oil is great too, clear and full of vitamins. One tip I do want to mention is the texture of the liver is a little bit like jello. I don’t mind it but someone might. It is just FYI.
