I love it
Very sturdy piece. It survived a move without a hitch and without taking it apart. Took boyfriend no time to put it together when we first received it; about an hour. It looks quality and has been very versatile in its use. The wood has not been dented and looks just as good as when first purchased despite all the use it has gotten. We have used it as a microwave stand, a coffee station and a liquer station. The inside shelving is durable. We have stored cookbooks inside as well as liquer bottles, large bottles of vinegar and our small george foreman grille. While using the outside selves for coffee cups for our Kerig and decorative pasta plates. The drawer is not terribly big but big enough to fit kitchen towels and potholders. Would have loved to have a paper towel holder but other than that its a great piece. The wheels are an extra plus to clean underneath or just move elsewhere for convenience and love the wheel lock so it doesnt move when you dont want it to.

Well-made; Great little room divider!
I looked at less expensive tea carts but I'm soo glad I chose this. Moderately priced but very well made, not a hassle to put together (I did it by myself), and does not look cheap in my brand new kitchen. I love the fact it has a door to hide my messy-looking snacks, tea kettle, etc. I put baskets on the shelves to further disguise clutter. I mounted a basket on the side to hold potholders as it's across from my stove. I have a large open room for my kitchen/living room with small "L" kitchen on one wall. I partially divided the space with a bamboo curtain, and put this cart in front of it to hold my teapot and teas, etc. Vastly improves the efficiency and helps define of the kitchen area with just this cart. Very nice!

Very Satisfied - Easily Assembled - Drawer Flimsy
Assembly on this took 1-hour. I don't know what the 'tough assembly' reviews were talking about. Yes, the directions could be a bit better, but if you've ever put anything like this together, you'll have no trouble. The wood is 'mostly' hardwood but the drawer is very, very much not. It's made of some sort of... terribly flimsy particle board sort of thing... I'd call it very thick cardboard but with less strength. I literally split the back panel by simply installing the screws. This is easily overcome if you pre-drill the screw holes. I didn't because I didn't know I'd need to. Better, if you have the capacity, copy the side and back boards of the drawer in real wood. Do that and this product is very solid. Don't misunderstand... the drawer moves very smoothly, it's just not even remotely sturdy aside from the front panel of hardwood. The hinged door features your typical magnetic latch that could be positioned better and have a bit more 'oomph', but it does hold the door closed. All-in-all, the product is very good. I bought it as a gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. All shelves are sturdy and in fact we use the open shelves to hold 12-packs of soda. Currently there are 4, 12-packs on each shelf and they are completely unfazed. The unit still rolls fine with weight applied. You WILL enjoy this product and even be impressed by it. Just... plan to beef up the drawer. EDIT: 2-months into ownership of this, still satisfied. Had an issue with a caster and the company sent a full set of replacements plus a hardwood replacement for the back of the drawer, making it as sturdy as the rest fo the unit.

Excellent value!
I am really impressed with the quality of this cart for the money paid. I can't say that it was the simplest of assembly projects, but it wasn't mysterious either. Just took a little time and a little work. Fortunately my partner is great at this sort of thing. The natural top and white look great together, and it easily accommodates my microwave, blender, rice cooker, panini maker, and food processor on its shelves. The drawer holds a ton of small tools and gadgets and rolls easily. The whole thing seems really well made. We bought this as a temporary solution for a small space that we will be living in for a year, but it's so well made that I imagine we'll take it with us after all.

Flimsy, cheap materials, disposable
First, the casters started breaking. Then, the bottom corners of the panel frames started splitting. I have a set of French white Corningware baking dishes on the side shelves. I have plastic stuff inside the cabinet like a plastic salad spinner, plastic herb keeper, plastic cheese molds, etc. and a Corningware lasagna pan. On top, I have an AeroGarden Bounty herb garden (maybe 10 pounds, if that) and a small stick fan. ALL FAIRLY LIGHTWEIGHT. The cart wobbles and now tilts to the back like a rapidly sinking ship. The load bearing frames should be hardwood. Fine if the panels are garbage highly flammable composite, but not the load bearing parts. The look of the design is nice, but this is cheap, flimsy and not worth the money. I paid over $200 for this piece of junk. It's now over $300. Find something better in a thrift shop. This is a total waste of money.

A good little kitchen. cart that poses some challenges.
I like the design of this cart a lot. More importantly perhaps, my wife likes the design of the cart. So I put aside a Saturday afternoon to assemble the cart expecting it to take a couple of hours (based on what I read here on amazon) but it actually took just over 3 hours, and ended with me screaming at the heavens a couple of times. I slogged through the first four illustrations/directions and felt pretty good about what I accomplished (visually orienting the pieces, no piece had to be removed/turned around/over etc) and then...then I turned the page and got to panel #5. OMG - from here on out I had problems. An un-labelled bottom panel. Braces that I wasn't quite sure how to orient. And drawer side rails that should not have been as difficult as they were to screw in. Panel 6 was no better- it was impossible for me to visualize how to orient Part J/brace to attach the faux wood top to the frame (This was the point of my first scream). Finally, the drawer was pretty straightforward - until I discovered that the rear end for the drawer itself was broken along the groove where the drawer bottom needed to be inserted. Minor repair - no scream - and I proceeded to carefully align the drawer and get the wheels on the frame. Wheeled it in from the room where it was being assembled to the adjacent kitchen. Didn't know that the wheels had a locked position, and one of them was in fact locked. It caught on the kitchen braided rug, and the wheel assembly broken the connecting leg end on the cart. That is when I had my second scream. I taped the leg back together, re-inserted the wheel, and positioned the cart in the kitchen where it now sits - performing its function admirably. Bottom line: this is a nice Ikea-style cart, but a bit over-priced for its overall quality. See if you can get one on a Warehouse Deal sale. Expect some frustration in the assembly, but if you're slightly handy (and believe me, I am only slightly handy) you can certainly assemble it yourself if you allocate the time for it. But frankly, I expected a bit more from Catskill Craftsmen.

Great Kitchen Cart
I think this is a great kitchen cart. Its sturdy and is a great size. Honestly reading the other reviews and saying it was hard to put together, lets get this straight: If you take your time and read the instructions carefully you wont miss a beat. But if you race through it I could totally understand how you could get lost and the cart not turn out the way its supposed to. Lots of pieces and not the EASIEST pictures to follow, but do able! Love the cart think it has so much room and is sturdy! So happy with my purchase!

It looks nice, but buyer beware
It's a nice little kitchen island cart with a modern look, but it doesn't have a lot going for it. The materials are very poor but they are held together relatively well once finished. The biggest drawback is the installation. It took me a good 2 hours when it looked really easy, and the instructions are terrible. For someone who has built a lot of furniture, it was something of a nightmare. The drawer is also very poor and falls out easily. All in all it looks nice but I don't think the quality and installation hassle is worth the price. (will upload pictures soon)
