While I almost didn't use this product because of the cost, I have been taking PectaClear for a few months and I really think it makes a difference. I would definitely recommend using it and will keep taking it myself. You have to take quite a few pills, 3 twice a day, to get going but then its only 1 twice a day to maintain the detox.

I chose this product because it is supposedly the gentlest way to help detoxify dangerous metals from your body. In addition to the modified citrus pectin it has, it has alginate, which supposedly is needed to ensure that the metals, once they're swept up from your bloodstream and tissues by the MCP, are disposed of and don't recirculate in your body. I started slowly with this product taking only one capsule per day, because MCP is fiber and adding too much fiber too quickly can cause gas. Over a couple weeks, I moved up to the recommended dose, which is three capsules twice a day on an empty stomach. (An empty stomach, in this instance, is 1/2 hour before or after a meal.) I took six capsules per day for three months and got re-tested to see if my levels had improved. All of the high levels of rubidium, gadolinium, thallium and platinum had come down to acceptable rages. The lead and mercury, however, had remained the same. I called the manufacturer and they said either it was a case of the lead and mercury being deep within my tissues and me needing another round of the product (they suggest either a three or six month trial) or that I am still being exposed to lead and mercury, and in that case, my levels would remain the same if the exposure is not stopped. Not sure which is the answer for me, but I am going to try it another three months since I had partial success with it.

Mom was diagnosed with titanium toxicity due to many spinal rods and screws, and joint replacements. We saw a chelation specialist and he said no oral pills will get it out of her system. We tried this anyway because I don’t trust doctors and had little to lose by trying it, and…. It works. I tell everyone I know with joint replacements or heavy metal toxicity about this.

I had used this as prescribed by my naturopathic doctor. I used it together with NAC, Zinc, Vitamin E, Selenomethionine , which was the protocol. Used it for 2 separate 3 month sessions, first when it was called PectaSol, and then when named changed to PectaClear. It really did nothing in lowering my blood pressure, which was the result of lead toxicity in my kidneys. I finally had to use vitamin C and magnesium in therapeutic quantities, and since I have a bottle left of this, I used them together with this, as well as with the abovementioned supplements. I'm now seeing progress in lowered blood pressure. I'm just not sure though, whether this is really needed. I'll know later, when my PectaClear runs out, and I will be left continuing my therapy without PectaClear. I seem to get the sense that when the detoxification is working, I urinate a lot, And this is what's happening now that I'm seeing progress in the reduction of my blood pressure. The liver and kidneys are being enabled as they excrete toxins through the urine.
