One of my dogs’ favourite food but a bit pricey for us as we’ve got bassets, and they’re low but big dogs, so they need a lot. Good ingredients, doesn’t upset their tummies so I buy it more like a treat for them when it’s on offer.

Fantastic dog food but it gives my dog runny poo. The food itself looks home made with high quality ingredients and it also smells good too. With regard to the poo problem I wondered if it was caused by the slightly greasy liquid/gravy, so I tried draining it off and it worked! Poo is back to normal. It’s a bit of a messy pain having to crush the food while still in the tin with the lid though I squeeze down very hard on the contents allowing the liquid to drain into the kitchen sink, but the results are worthwhile. My dog who is a cocker spaniel is doing very well on this food and she absolutely loves it. I feed her two tins per day with a small scoop of kibble in between to further help firming her poo. Overall I’m very happy with this high quality dog food but I’ve deducted a star because of all the faffing.

My dog loves this. I used to buy and cook chicken thighs for him to have with his kibble. This is much more convenient and I hope more nutritious. It definitely is less fattening than chicken thighs and easier to monitor how much he has. He is a medium sized dog and has a pouch for breakfast, small amount of kibble and a tin for lunch and another tin for dinner. He probably could have a tin plus kibble and two pouches a day. I wish it was less expensive!

Get this a lot

The tins are like a large tuna tins ,very im pressed and when you open it omg full of chicken and veg ,i know they aren't cheap but worth every penny. As it look yummy when you open it . If i was to buy chicken breast and veg and cook it it would cost me way more than six pounds altogether. With electricity etc . So yes i think this is very good value. He was getting Lily kitchen but it looked all the other brands dark coloured and its fortunes. But he also like them too. Im trying to wean him off wet food as its not good for there teeth but im definitely going to keep these in my cupboard as if hes to have a upset tummy i think they would be ideal. Ive bought this brand before for my cat who lived to the ripes old age of 22years and my late dog who also was a pug like hugo not as big as hugo as hes an above average pug ideal weight ,just a very large pug. Not fat neither of my pugs have never been over weight its cruel. My late pug lived till she was 16years old which is very good as they usually live to 9years-11years and i fed her on this Encore every day as it was gental on her tummy. Hope this was helpful.
