LEKI Rubber Tip Attachment
UPDATE:20 September 2014 I had read a couple of reviews that stated that the tips did not last long, so I decided to do a little experiment by not taking the tips off when I walked on trails. Here is what I found; After many months and over 500 miles of use, these tips are still going strong and not showing all that much wear! Much of the mileage on these is from walking trails with all sorts of conditions from sand to shale from not very sharp to very sharp edges. We have walked at several National Parks, including Glacier Park, and we have walked on sidewalks in many cities. I am even more impressed with these as they have held us so well. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to create a little less noise and that want to cover the point on their walking poles. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Having recently had a hip replaced, I was looking for a way to continue to use my LEKI walking stick instead of getting a cane or other device. Since most stores and people prefer that you do not use a pointed ended stick in their homes or businesses, I needed something that would work well for those situations and also allow me to walk on sidewalks. I saw this item and decided to give it a try. Here is what I like about the product: 1. The tip fits easily onto the pole and it does not easily come off! It is simple to remove, it just does not come off on its own. 2. The cover works well and grips the tip enough so that you still have the shock absorber aspects of the walking stick. 3. The unit appears to be very durable. I have walked a little over 20 miles so far and there is no noticeable wear!! Things that I did not like as much: 1. The price of a pair of these is a bit much considering the fact that they are just a small piece of rubber. I think a more reasonable price would be about half of what these currently sell for. Overall, I am happy with the product and it does exactly what I need it to do. I just wish the price was a bit more reasonable.

Good for my hiking
Purchased to cover the tips of my walking sticks/ski poles. Easy to apply, fits snuggly and provides for good traction on various surfaces. Ordered as each…had to place a second order for a pair.

Great for hiking!
Works great - easy to pop on and off as the trail changes from pavement to dirt. I was very happy I purchased these so I did not have to hear the click-clack of the poles on the paved sections of the trail! I also felt more secure with the non-slip rubber on the steep pavement. This was my first time using trekking poles as I am now older with arthtitis in my knees. The poles and tips were a real game changer! I used them at Mount Rainier on the Skyline Loop trail.

1 piece only!
First, let's be clear: this listing is for 1 leki pole tip. If you want 2, you'll need to order 2. These tips are well made and are great for basic paved or easy trail trekking. While they're unlikely to just fall off, they can be pulled off during more technical trail trekking if they get hung up, but you'll probably know it instantly. They wear like iron and are a great way to protect your carbide tip when you don't need that extra digging power.

Works great, poor value
It works great. Fits my Leki hiking sticks perfectly. However it's a terrible value for the money, just one rubber tip for $10. Others offer 6 tips for $10.

Only one leg and use TWO Leki canes …
I was using Chinese copies. They were inexpensive and ‘seemed’ to work. They wore out biweekly and I replaced them biweekly. With one leg, traction of a cane tip is the difference between safety and injury. I finally spent the $20-$30 it took to buy TWO Leki branded tips. These feel different than the copies, and last many times longer. I feel much mor traction and stability with these tips. Hard to believe that they would be totally worth the high price, but they are ! If you are also handicapped in any way. Buy these, and see the difference for yourself ….

Only ONE Tip - NOT a pair
Only one tip. NOT a pair. Misleading headline as these should always be bought in a pair. This isn't clear in the description and feels like a bait and switch. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Buen soporte extra para el bastón de montaña pra poderlo usar en piso liso, superficies de interior como de exterior con poca o nula textura

These trekking pole tips are not cheap but they are made of real rubber which does not slip and does not harden in the cold and they last far longer than more reasonably priced tips….

Warning, there is only one tip... for the money, crazy!

Je croyais que ça venait en paire, je vois mal comment un seul embout peut être utile…

It's okay but I had a Leki rubber tip from years back which had a better traction than this.
