They were great fit perfect and protected the drums

The pads are good and as described but it doesn’t silence the drums too much.

I am an over 60 y.o. hobby drummer. No longer do I dream of playing in a rock and roll band but I do still enjoy playing along to favorite records. As everyone knows drums are loud and disturb other household members and neighbors. These mutes work great but in my opinion too well on the cymbals. The cymbal and high hat mute made them sound as though you were holding the cymbal with your other hand while playing, completely muting the sound. Also a bass mute would be helpful. Since I have 2 ride cymbals and 3 crash cymbals I needed additional mutes. I ordered 1/8" foam from XCELL and made my own cymbal and high hat mutes. The mutes that came with the set made a good pattern. This allows some actual sound to be heard but still quite low volume.

These are the cheapest foam you can imagine. These pictures are how the items actually came to me because someone else returned them as well. One drum hit and they get destroyed. The foam is not flexible or thick enough to even mute anything, they dont lay flat. I thought these were more like the rubber foam cushion that would contour to the cymbals and drums, they are not. cheap cheap cheap, dont waste your money. I decided to just go buy a big roll of the good foam rubber and cut these myself for my drums. Way less expensive and much better quality.

Not saying it doesn’t work just that it’s thin foam pay a little bit more get the rubberized dampers

Extremely poor quality. I don't play hard but these things fell apart fast! Snare drum pad is flaking and ripping, hi-hat is tearing at the contact point. Cymbol pad quickly became splintered and useless. Only bought these since they were half the price but it's just not worth it. Go the extra mile and get the Evans pads instead of these cheapo knockoffs.
