Happy triathlete!
I bought these arm warmers for my first Ironman. The race is held Nov. 5th so the there was a chance that the bike leg could be cold and windy. Raceday morning was chilly, not cold, so I threw the arm warmers on until I warmed up. They did the job nicely. After I warmed up on the bike I still kept them on because they weren't overly warm, eventually taking them off at the bike special needs. They were small enough to stuff in my back pocket just in case I needed to throw them on that night during the run. On the run it didn't get cold enough for me to need them but knowing they were right there gave me piece of mind.

X-Small is perfect for slim/petite women
My specs: I'm 5'4", ~110 lb., typically an XS/0-2 in women's clothes, with slim/average arms for my size. I ride my road bike 3-5 times per week on trips of ~30 miles or less. I got these arm warmers in cobalt (blue) in XS, and they fit great -- right on the money in terms of sizing. The color is true to the picture, like a royal blue.It has started getting cold here at dusk/night, and I get cold pretty easily to begin with. I've brought these arm warmers with me on three rides now and was so thankful I had them. Fortunately, they fold up very small and take up almost no room, so I was able to squeeze them into my seat bag. They have a grippy silicone elastic band at the top to hold the warmer on your arm, and the inside is lined with soft fleece. Each time I've worn them so far, I've been wearing a thin, short-sleeved jersey. I put the arm warmers on when it got down to about 60 degrees, and they kept me comfortable the whole time -- I didn't even need to put on a jacket. (When we stopped for water, I actually got a little overheated and had to pull the arm warmers down! They are SERIOUSLY WARM!) I can anticipate using these arm warmers a lot, especially if there will be a wide temperature variation, if I don't want to bring a bulky jacket, etc.The only downside to these arm warmers is that they're a little short on me, and I'm not tall by any means. I didn't mind the small gap (maybe 1 cm) between the top of the arm warmer and my jersey sleeve, as I found that actually helped regulate my temperature. (As a disclaimer, I don't wear traditional road biking jerseys but instead slim-fitting, wicking athletic tops, typically with cap sleeves, from Athleta, Lulu, etc. These arm warmers would probably be the perfect length, with no gap, for traditional road biking jerseys.)Overall, highly recommended.

Pretty good sleeves
OK sleeves. The fit is good but not great - one sleeve seems slightly larger/longer than the other. And one sleeve isn't cut right, so it has some odd rumpled fabric in the forearm portion. Otherwise, they have a nice fleece inner, the tacky gripper at the bicep end is very good and the graphics are nice & simple.

Warm in the 50s, stays in place
SIZING: I am a slim 5'7" 135 lbs, with average to thin arms, and the small fits perfectly, snug but not uncomfortably tight.Bought this to add flexibility during winter/spring/fall rides in Colorado, where the weather/temps change dramatically throughout the day. I wear a long sleeve shell during cooler rides, and put these on to bolster my warmth when the sun is covered or the temps start to drop. They are well made, with the silicon dimples on the top edge to provide solid stability and I have not had them slip down once. They are lined with a fleece like material that adds minimal bulk but definitely provides more insulation than a nylon/spandex shell. I keep these in my bento box rolled up (small topeak bento) and they fit in there easily, along with a cell phone and travel kleenex (ALLERGIES!).Does exactly what I expected it to do, and is much more flexible warmth than a heavier jacket. I don't bike in less than 50 degrees if I can help it so these are untested below 50 degrees.

I felt comfortable riding with just a short sleeve jersey and these ...
As others have noted, the letters (logo) do peel off, even without washing them. That said, this item does exactly what it is intended to do. They keep your arms warm on those cooler days. I felt comfortable riding with just a short sleeve jersey and these when it was 45 deg out. Any cooler than this, may want to dress warmer.

The Usual Sugoi Excellence.
I've never regretted buying a Sugoi product. I have shorts, jerseys, a jacket, arm warmers and leg warmers. The medium fit just like other Sugoi arm warmers I have purchased before. I am 5'10" and 165 pounds, with a 34.5" sleeve length. I have used the Mid Zeros here in Southern California on days where the starting temperature was between 50 and 62 degrees. Below 50, I usually opt for the Sub-Zero set, but I'm a weather wimp. I purchased these to replace a pair on which the elastic wore out, probably due to age. I dry them in a Maytag dryer with a flat drying screen shelf made for drying sweaters and delicate items, on a low heat setting (basically warm air). The arm warmers lasted about 3 years.

For bodybuilders, not cyclists
These are warm and the length is good but quite loose in the bicep area. I'm 6'2" and my dress shirts have a 36" sleeve length. Got the XL size for the length, but my scrawny cyclist arms aren't big enough to fill out the top of the sleeves. Thinking about hitting the gym to try to get these to fit properly.

Size rating only, medium not long enough for me
I am 5-9 and 150 pounds. I ordered medium and the product's 16" length on my arm was not long enough. Arm warmers should be tight but these also seemed too tight. Probably should have ordered large. Felt like they would be very warm, but I did not ride with them as I knew they were going back.
