Champion Women's Active Multi Sports Bra

I'm 54. I have used Shock Absorber on and off over the years but recently I was using Fantasie underwired and it was driving me nuts because the underwire can end up catching the underarm area when doing certain HIIT actions like running and punching for example. I am normally a 36DD but Covid weight gain means I am a 38DD so I opted for the 38E. The bra is tight, very tight but not so tight that I can't breathe, and WOW when it goes on it's a weight lifted - literally :) It's a compression style so it lifts and holds everything very tight against the chest wall so although you may not look attractive it feels VERY VERY supportive. I probably could have gone to an F cup and been okay. But for me the comfort and lack of bounce outweighs the flat look. My daughter is 15 and is 32E, she ordered 32F and similarly the size and fit is the same on her. She recommended this as she uses hers for showjumping and horse riding and found it great. I'm really glad I decided to give this a try. For full on running with a larger bust there will be movement and you may need two bras one over the other but for HIIT and other workouts this really is a fantastic bra. I've been using it now for two weeks and love it. I wash on 30 degrees in a small zipped bag with the back hooks closed (like you would when you wear it) and it's washed beautifully. I hang to dry and don't use a tumble dryer. Highly recommended.

I love this bra. After a few days of wear, I ordered another one happily. The level of comfort and support is unparalleled. I can move every way I want, at whatever speed I want, and everything feels supported with the weight/pressure evenly distributed. Getting this fully supported feeling in a large size is amazing. It's an added bonus that the price is great (depending on colour and size that you pick; I just go for the least expensive colour). The two sets of fasteners at the back can be awkward to close, particularly the one higher up. However, it's so nice to wear that I don't mind spending a few seconds fumbling around trying to close it.

I currently wear a 30E in most bras (Cleo by Panache is my go-to brand) after losing a little weight recently. I've decided I finally want to start exercising again and thus knew I needed to order myself a sports bra in my new size. As I actually already own this Shock Absorber bra in black in a 32E (albeit unworn) from when I used to be a 30F/32E in bras, I knew right away I wanted to get the same bra again for its supportiveness. I ordered the pink/coral colour in a 30DD and 30E to compare sizing. Firstly, this sports bra is MUCH more brighter than the somewhat muted pink it appears to be in the Amazon photographs. It is a really, really nice and fun neon pink colour in person! I have a large, noticeably bony rib cage that measures about 29" around and I wear an 8-10 in UK clothes. This 30 band bra measures only 22" unstretched! In fact, given that I could only stretch it to 26" in my hands, I'm sure you can imagine how tight it felt on me. It took me a good minute or so to even be able to fasten this bra. Even though it *looked* like the right size once it was fastened, I could feel the band pressing against my ribs when I tried taking a deep breath. As a result of my aforementioned bony rib cage, bra bands that fit too tight compress my ribs in a very uncomfortable way in general. This is obviously exacerbated and a big no-no in a sports bra where you'll be breathing more heavily from exertion! I'm going to try reordering in the 32 back size if the price stays the same once I've returned the 30 band bras. One annoying point I'd like to mention is that I ordered these bras along with some jeans that also unfortunately didn't fit. Amazon have now given me two different returns labels for my order which all arrived in one box, i.e., I now have to buy a box/shipping bag to return half of this order. I've had this happen previously with Amazon orders and really don't get why they do this.

Good for exceeding buy again

I like the shock absorber bras for work! Thus bra is OK, but I do wish the straps extended a bit more - I have my bra extended as far as it will go, but the straps do dig in my shoulders a little and I don’t really have very large shoulders or anything! Still, after a few washes they’ve softened a bit.

Absolutely love the colour and pattern of this bra. The photo doesn't do it justice. This is my go to sports bra which I use if I go running, cycling or to the gym doing weights or cardio, classes etc. I have this one in a 34FF and it doesn't eliminate 100% of the bounce but it eliminates the majority of it so that I am able to run or whatever I want to do without feeling subconcious about any bounce or feeling any pain or discomfort. So I would recommend. My bra size can fluctuate with my weight and can range anywhere from a 32E to a 34G. I have found the bra a bit more supportive in the smaller sizes but that stands to reason. However, it is more than adequate in my opinion across the sizes I have experience of and will therefore continue to buy them. I hope they release more prints like this. I'm bored of black and white.

The material is as expected, but there's more of a uni-boob created than I like (and than is comfortable)

Contains the girls well, hoped there'd be more "separation" than there is, but at 36H I'm happy with the containment that allows me to do physical exercise without the fear of getting thumped in the face with my own body parts ;)

Dieses Modell sitzt bei mir einfach top. Habe diesen BH schon in anderen Farben. Ich finde das gut, dass der zweite Verschluss nicht in der Nähe vom Nacken (wie bei vielen anderen Sport BH's) sondern relativ weit unten sitzt. Shock Absorber scheint dieses Modell nicht mehr zu produzieren, ich freue mich, dass ich hier noch ein Schnäppchen machen konnte.
