Juki HZL-F600 Computerized Sewing and Quilting Machine

This is the best Sewing machine I have ever had. Very easy to use. I love the fact that it is a quilting machine as well as a regular sewing machine. I like the fact that the sewing table comes with itI like the power of this machine. A perfect machine for me.

Amazing machine, very glad I have it. This machine is TOUGH and will go through multiple thick fabrics without a hitch. Have also sewn light jerseys with no issues. Has a ton of useful stitches and features, the only thing I haven't tried yet is double needle stitching. I love that the bobbin winder is a separate motor, you don't have to disengage the main motor to wind a bobbin. The work surface is HUGE and very comfortable. The extension table makes it even bigger if needed. Intuitive controls and a good manual that is easy to navigate and understand. Great machine for the price, has many feature of the really high end models.

I am in love with my Juki. I had a much less expensive, very basic machine for many years when my sewing was limited to basic garments and simple quilting, just what I could squeeze into my limited free time. When things got less hectic I decided to learn more quilting techniques, and there were some things that were just harder than necessary on my old machine. So in the middle of a course and with the dreaded tariffs looming I took the plunge and ordered this machine after doing my research. I was nervous because I had not used a computerized machine before, but within a few days of practicing I was ready to show it off in class. Still don’t know the full extent of what it can do, but haven’t found anything to be that difficult. There are a plethora of presser feet that come with, and a good if basic manual. The presser feet are standard low shank. If necessary I could probably use one from my old machine, but so far the Juki has included everything I have needed. In addition to the DVD that comes with it, Juki has a YouTube channel which is handy for being able to review how to do something wherever you are. I especially like that the most frequently used accessories fit into the removable bed, but the other items are included in a sturdy pouch that can be kept in a pocket of the hard shell case, which is also convenient. The included bed is a nice size, too. I guess it’s pretty standard, but it has the needle down option, as well as the option to set your sewing speed. The automatic needle threader is pretty nifty as well. Winding a bobbin is a breeze. I just used the overcast stitch and was impressed by how simple it was. There’s still a lot to learn and I don’t know that I will ever use all the features. But the ease of use so far is encouraging so I might yet branch out.

If you are into sewing and want a reliable no holes barred solution, this is it. Small to large projects are a breeze and this unit is a great sewing machine with a low noise level and handles thin to thick fabrics with out missing a step.

I finally was able to have time to get on my new Juki computerized sewing and quilting machine. It is so wonderful! I love the needle-up needle-down feature. I believe it may take me some time to get used to all the computerized functions of my new machine, but I believe that I shall become more adept at sewing on my Juki after I have practiced awhile. For now, I have plugged in the controller foot because I am not used to a computerized machine and for now the foot is more practical for me to use. My Juki came with so many feet and other things as well. I am very impressed. The machine runs very smoothly and was easy to thread both the bobbin and the upper thread. I love the automatic needle threading function. All-in-all, I would say my purchase of this machine was an exceptional buy. Thank you Juki and Amazon!

Thank You Sew Vac Direct and Amazon for carrying this brand of sewing machine. I've sewn on industrial Juki machines so had no doubts that Juki was the right brand. The features on this machine allows a sewist to go from garment sewing, hemming and mending to household sewing like curtains and drapes, to quilting "seamlessly". The transition from one function to the other is flawless. I've just finished a 108 X 112 king size quilt and this machine would have made that process a breeze. I love the exact 1/4" needle placement for scant 1/4" piecing that is flawless each time. I love the thread cutter. This machine is quiet compared to base level machines. The lighting, there are two LED lights, one over the needle one over the bed. The machine is intuitive and easy to set up and operate right out of the box. I played with mine for half an hour and started piecing another quilt. This machine produces a quality stitch each time. I also love the bobbin winder, fills a smooth tight even bobbin and has an independent bobbin motor so there is no need to stop sewing for bobbin filling. The free motion quilting foot is so well designed and makes FMQ a breeze. I can't say enough about this machine, I knew what Juki would deliver as I ran Juki machines working at Levis Strauss years ago. I am Not disappointed. This was the right machine for me.

Bisher kannte ich Juki nur aus dem Industriebereich und war überrascht das es nun auch Haushaltnähmaschinen gibt. Wie auch in der Industrie besticht Juki durch seine Technik und Qualität. Gut durchdachte Features verhelfen beim Nähen zu sehr guten Ergebnissen, ohne große Anstrengung. Für mich ein Traum von einer Nähmaschine in dieser Preisklasse. Kann ich jeden nur empfehlen.

Ich nähe mit dieser Nähmaschine seit etwa 6 Monaten, hier meine Erfahrung: Positiv: Beleuchtung, große Auswahl an Zierstichen, großer Nähbereich, Nähen mit elastischen Stoffen dank Nähfußdruck Einstellung sehr gut, freundlicher Kundenservice. Negativ: Nach 3 Tagen brach während des Nähen eine Schraube, die die Nadel hält. Kann passieren. Leider dauerte es knapp vier Wochen, bis Ersatzteil hier war. Nach 5 Monaten hörte der automaticher Einfädler zu funktionieren. Ein Monat später war die Naht nimmer "einwandfrei" gerade, sie macht unregelmäßige 1mm Sprünge links/rechts, die man natürlich sieht. Teilweise wird es besser, wenn ich die Oberfadenspannung auf höchste Stufe stelle- egal welche Stoffstärke, also stimmt hier etwas nicht. Bei 4 Lagen BW Webstoff wird die Maschine laut. 4 Lagen Jeans schafft die Maschine definitiv nicht- die Naht ist nicht regelmässig, die Geräusche sind sehr laut. Mein Fazit: Ich denke, es wurde hier viel in "viel Extras" investiert und darunter leidet die Qualität. Ich bin mit dieser Nähmaschine nicht happy- werde sie zum Service bringen und nachher diese Bewertung aktualisieren.

I bought this sewing machine as a birthday present for myself. I waited to write a review because I wanted to use it for a while to see how I liked it. I'm so pleased with it am excited to continue sewing with it over the winter. I have only owned manual sewing machines and am delighted with this new computized machine. It has a lot of features that are "sewer intuitive". Little things that I have never had before but wished they were on the other machines I've used. It is also a strong machine and can take sewing with thicker fabrics - a must for me. Overall, I would recommend this machine to anyone.

Perfect stitches from synthetic double fleece to cotton. Motor has a nice sound and fabric feeds beautifully. Button holes are wonderful. I have made a variety of types of button holes including on a single layer double faced synthetic fleece. The buttonhole stitch option I chose worked beautifully without any stabilizer or backing. Basic embroidery alphabet stitches nicely. I typically stick to basic stitch patterns that work with wovens and knits, but am enjoying the additional embroidery choices. The knee lift is perfect for freeing up hands and the foot peddle is a very well thought out design with cord securing features. I love this machine.
