I ordered this mount for a DVR so that I can mount it to the ceiling of our garage. This one works perfectly for what I need it to do. I would have purchased a shorter height size if I wasn't mislead of the size of the DVR. Unfortunately I bought the items together so I wasn't able to measure the DVR before purchasing the mount, I solely based the size from what the product dimensions are on the description. The install was okay, since it is mounted to the ceiling I was having difficulties the first time because the adjustable depth keeps extending or falling down due to the gravity, the only way I was able to work around it is by tightening hard the plastic screws. It would have been better if there was a different way to secure the brackets. The entire time I was tightening the screws I was worried I would crushed it with the pliers. Overall the quality is great and I am satisfied with the bracket! Which is not entirely true. If you happen to have this DVR I suggest to get a shorter bracket, I had to secure the device with velcro straps.

Amazing! I have showed few ppl this n no one has seen it before but loves it. My mom was skeptical that the cox Motorola box I have would not change channels once mounted behind TV- she was wrong no matter if I point clicker left right or even at ceiling it still works. I also have huge mirror on my bedroom wall might b working n bouncing off that whatever the case I love it and it looks great works great! Was very easy to install just make sure you measure and look at the descriptions for each mount so you get the right one- notice they have different sizes now M, Mw, L :) works perfectly and only cords I have showing for now is my power cord n cable cord which will b an easy fix!

Was hesitant to spend that much on a metal piece to hide out cable box, but I couldn't take seeing it anymore! Easy to assemble and install (for my husband, anyway) and remote works just fine from bed even with box completely hidden. Have it as close to edge without being able to see it. We used black electrical tape to cover the time on cable box because the obnoxious blue light lights up the whole room while we sleep. This is MUCH better than having box on the floor with a t-shirt covering the time and the cables everywhere! (I then used a $5 white cable cord cover from Home Depot to then hide the black cable at moulding base.) Posted a before and then the after pics to help!

Super easy to install once you know where you want to put it. I used this system to hide my cable box behind the TV. Sturdy fit and works great. I wish it had wingnuts to tighten the adjusters down vs the threaded caps, but that’s a small complaint in the big picture

Fairly easy to set up. Looks great and makes the wall look beautiful. Only thing I didn't like was I thought it was a little bit pricey for something like this $60 seems too much.

We are in the process of remodeling our basement after a flood. I really didn't want a TV stand because the TV is rather large and a large TV would make the space look smaller than it was. The dish receiver is an older one and a butt larger than the new ones. This HIDEit mount was perfect because it allows a little bit of an overhang and the price was just right! It saved the day! It was easy to install and there is no problem with turning the channels! If we need another one, we will definitely be buying one of these!

I love my HIDEit Uni-L cable box wall mount. This was probably the easiest thing I've ever put together. Very high quality, simple to use, and perfect fit. We have our flatscreen mounted on the wall above our dresser. Our master closet is right on the other side of the wall. The hide it doesn't waste any space in the closet since it's mounted on the wall. I mounted it right next to the hole I made in the wall to pass the cables through. Incredible product.

Six pieces of metal, four screws, and that's about it. Entirely adequate product that is overpriced by about 100%. Costs three times as much as the TV swing arm wall mount I bought at the same time.

Works great. Bracket is actually behind our TV holding the receiver. Out of sight and yes the remote works.
