I bought this pump to change the oil on my jet ski and it worked really well. The pump is compact, easy to hook up, and does a good job extracting the oil without making a big mess. It pulled the oil out much easier than trying to do it manually. One tip I’d definitely recommend is to warm up the engine for a few minutes before extracting the oil. When the oil is warm it flows much easier and the pump removes it faster and more completely. Overall it seems well made and did exactly what I needed it to do. If you’re changing oil on a jet ski, motorcycle, or other small engine, this pump makes the job a lot easier. I’d definitely recommend it.

Very glad I bought this. It worked far better than I thought, and faster than I thought. I don't think some people are warming up the engine oil (but not so hot it'll burn your hand) before they change it. The pump depends on that to operate. This has cheap Chinese gears and won't pump the cold sludge out of your old Nissan Altima. But even more importantly, if you aren't warming your oil, you're more debris in your engine which depends on the low viscosity of warm oil to move. The only negative: depending on your usage, the battery clamps, input hose, or output hose may be too short without modification.

This is junk. I used it for 5 minutes, and it broke. The inflow tube is larger than the outflow tube. This caused the unit to overheat and overpressure. It works for 15 seconds, then needs to cool for 3 minutes. After the 5th cool-down, trying to use it for the first time, the outflow tube busted and would no longer seal on the unit. Threw it in the trash. DO NOT waste your money, or it will spew oil all over the place as it did under the hood of my Tahoe. Cost more to clean up from it than to buy it.

The pump itself seemed to work very well, but the accessories included are pretty insufficient. The battery post clamps are too small to comfortably fit the posts in even a compact car, let alone a pickup truck. The included hose clamps are useless and should be thrown away immediately and replaced with the cheapest ones from your local hardware store. The flexible hose is insufficiently stiff, and collapses under the vacuum generated by the pump. This presents a huge flow restriction and causes evacuating to take forever. With that said, it was a very cheap kit and sure did work.

I liked the price and gave it a chance. It works well. It did overheat and shut off by the built in overtime switch after pumping approximately 2 gallons of automatic transmission fluid. After about a minute it was ready to go again. It comes with two short pieces of pvc tubing (3/8 inside diameter I think) and a smaller inside diameter short piece of tubing which I have not used yet. I like the power cord with battery clamps. They are long enough to place the pump in a secure location without the need to be right on top of the battery. The pump has an easy to use on/off switch. Pump is pretty quick about moving fluid. Primes itself easily. Not for use with non-oil based fluids. No water or antifreeze! The pump need the oil your pumping to lubricate itself. No oil, no lube. No more pump.

This pump works great. Bought a manual pump for a mercruiser dipstick extraction that cost.$50.00 and it didn't work. What a waste and a pain. This pump worked great and I had the oil extracted in 10 minutes. I highly recommend it. It shutoff a couple of times at first, but it always started right back up and did it's job.

Was working great in the beginning of doing an oil change on my boat but during the oil change on the second motor it would stop working intimately but was able to get the job done. I think it might have a lose connection inside the pump. Turning it on and off a few times I was able to get it to work.

This small pump is a work horse. Powerful
