Gift Republic: Name a Star Gift Box

I was Christmas shopping for my stepmother when I ran across this. She is one of those people you absolutely hate to shop for. She is incredibly particular and has everything she could want/need. Other than vodka or scratch-off lottery tickets, it's always a chore to find something she might actually enjoy. Earlier in the spring, she had lost her twin brother. I knew it was a huge loss to her. I thought this would make a nice gift and give her a way to pay a tribute to her lost twin. She was so grateful. It was a perfect gift at a perfect time.

Gifted this to my Daughters elementary Science teacher he thought it was very thoughtful, unique, and sentimental he even named the star after my daughter!

The product itself is in good condition but the tin came dented and makes it hard to open, which stinks because it’s meant to be a Christmas gift.

We got the package in just a couple days, but note, the authentication will not come any sooner than 28 days after registering the information.

I bought this as an anniversary gift and was very pleased with it! Inside the tin box is a letter explaining the gift, a map of stars in the sky (you will use this later to locate your star), and a certificate. On the back of the box is an expiration date so you do have time to decide on a name for your star. You can submit and register your star with a custom name online and you will be sent a printed certificate with the name and location of your star on it. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the star map isn't very attractive and you have to circle the star your self if you want to keep the location visible. Over all its a great gift!

I bought this for my grandson. I loved the idea of giving an eternal gift. The registration can be done online. My only caution is plan ahead if you are giving it as a gift and want to name the star yourself. It takes almost a month to get the "Star Deed" after registering.

I bought 2 of these sets have always wanted this and finally came across this here on Amazon. Very meaningful gift. Naming a star or two in my case it is really cool to look up and know my family named them. Great gifts for anniversary, wedding, birth, death,friendship any celebration you can think of or just for your family. Kids really enjoy this and it inspires them to want to know more about the planets and stars. I plan to have many more of these in the future!!

Very satisfied with my purchase, the packaging was tip-top and the delivery arrived on time. One of the main reasons for selecting it was because it was available on Amazon Prime, a service that I find extremely useful, since I like to receive my orders within a course of a week (at least).

I purchased this as a gift for my “bonus”parents who love astrology. This was a really cool, unique and meaningful gift idea! I originally purchased a kit in person from a local shop, was about to wrap it when i realized the expiration date had expired MONTHS prior, the store refused to refund or exchange it until AFTER Christmas (very strange). Fortunately I found the kit here on Amazon and I recieved it within a week or so! Super happy with this :)

Bought this product on 25th November 2023 but when the product arrived the date to register was expired by april 2023. This was a present to someone. Very embarrassing.
