Well designed mailbox - easy to install-worth twice the price!
This mailbox should be twice the price because of quality! I purchased this mailbox for a neighbor and I was impressed by the smart pole design and it's strength. Once installed in concrete with the mailbox installed, it looked better than I thought and was solid as if the post was made of a steel pipe. Well done!

Might not withstand very cold temps
Easy to install and looks great but when it got cold one of the screws on the bottom of the door opening came off so I have it held together with zipties.

Exactly what we needed
We recently built a new house on a dead-end street, and since all the mailboxes for our road are at the entrance, we needed something functional rather than fancy. This mailbox fit the bill perfectly! It was easy to assemble and install using a bag of quick-set concrete and a shovel. While it's not the most decorative option (which is exactly why we chose it at this price point), it’s sturdy, well-made, and does the job. Plus, compared to the older wooden post mailboxes that are starting to fall apart, ours should last a long, long time!

When it rains heavy mail gets wet
In general this is exactly what it looks like. An inexpensive mailbox. It was easy to assemble and the door opens and closes as you would expect. Even the flag works, although my mail carrier doesn't seem to know what that is for. My only complaint is that with heavy rain the mail gets wet. It is not at all apparent how the water gets in.
