I have to say, at first I was skeptical buying this product. Prior to buying it, I got the ‘unmountable boot volume error’ on my home desktop. I spoke with a Microsoft employee who basically told me I was screwed. He said I had to get a blank USB drive, copy windows recovery from a laptop, plug the USB into my desktop to reset/reinstall windows, and that all my data, files, pictures would be deleted. He said that was the only way, and that all my files would be gone. I thought, let me give this ‘system recovery’ disc a try. Worst case scenario I’m out $13. Well, let me tell you, it worked amazingly! It took all together, maybe about a half hour. I followed a few simple steps, and my computer is up and running good as new, or good as old, as it is from 2009. But I can’t say good enough things about this, give it a shot if you cant start up your computer. And don’t listen to the people at Microsoft that have their heads up their you know where.

I bought this trying to fix a Windows tablet. The software loaded fine but I think the tablet just had a nasty virus. After spending too much time on it I came to the realization that it was junk. But I have a 2 in 1 windows tablet that belonged to my dearly departed brother, that I want to keep , because it is one of the only thing I have left of his. This software worked for me on that tablet. But 1 thing to note it doesn’t have a windows registry key so it will not register as genuine.

Did not receive a REPAIR disk. Number of issues. 1 WOULD NOT BOOT. Open file directory and ran setup.exe. File opens and after going though selection, disk offers to do a FULL INSTALL, removing all data/programs/apps from computer. That is great if that is why you purchased the disk, but it was selected as a REPAIR DISK. The card that comes with it stated that it was a REPAIR disk and not a full install, ???? Guess someone got the disks mixed up in shipping. A full install or new install, will require an activation key. In any case, disk is not reliable. Hope that helps.

it did have a little instruction sheet. guess i didn't read it well online. it didn't work for me but who knows if it will work for you. and still a nice addition to have for diagnostics especially if you are a tech.

its ok not too good

I had issues with the first 2 CDs, they could not be read by the disk drive due to 1 being cracked and the other one had unreadable files. I worked through the Amazon return process and received a workable CD Today that seems to be working. Hats off the Amazon for backing up the process and coming through with a quality product and delivery. Ralix windows recovery is a great product and works much better than using the various Windows tools. I highly recommend it. Ralix has fantastic customer service as well. The product i used was a very reasonable price and saved me a ton of time. I give it 6 stars. ******

This disc updated my Sony laptop windows 7 to a windows 10 I haven’t used a laptop in so long was not even aware I couldn’t get online to use and couldn’t update for free any longer so I bought the disc it was very easy to do now I’m able to use it again thank you 👍🏻

I gave this a shot and it did work. It actually installed a legit genuine copy of windows. The app store doesn't work,I get an error code. And some programs won't install cause it says it's the wrong version . I tried installing Nvidia drivers and kept getting drivers not compatible with this version of windows. I installed the 64bit the home version. But it works. I didn't have to buy a laptop.

Tenía una alta expectativa en este CD y la verdad es que nunca lo ha reconocido mi equipo. Ni hablar, fue una mala compra.
