Viking Contemporary 3-Ply Pots and Pans Set, 10 Piece Stainless Steel Kitchen Cookware, Silver

This was a fairly big purchase but it is true, you do get what you pay for. My Vikings are heavy and substantial, heat evenly and even though they can discolor a bit from being over a gas stove and inside the gas ovens, a little Bon Ami or Barkeepers Friend cleans them up to a beautiful shine again. If you love to cook (or even if you don't) these pots are worth every penny. My biggest grievance with my last pot set from Wolfgang Puck (so much for famous names - would never touch anything with that name on it again) was that the rivets inside the pots that held the handles to the bases mottled almost immediately letting the cheap under base metal show through and contaminate the food cooking inside with dangerous components from those base metals. As these Viking pots are stainless steel through and through I have not had that problem. Trust me, you don't want to be slowly poisoned by copper or cadmium or aluminum leaching into your food.

We purchased this as it was time to retire our 20 year-old set. Very pleased with its performance and surprisingly easy to clean up considering its NOT a non-stick design. May feel a little on the heavy side if you’re use to aluminum lightweight pans, but this is good quality, professional style cook-ware, and well recommended. Only missing piece for us would have been a small1 1/2 qt. sauce pan which were now searching for.

This item works flawlessly right out of the box. It's super easy to operate, even a beginner can use it without any trouble.

Received only a stock pot instead of the 10-piece set that I purchased. Very disappointed.

I am bummed! This cookware is really beautiful and well made, but the two larger lids arrived dented. The box seems to be too lightweight and flimsy for the weight of the cookware. I am returning it. The returns page was really easy to navigate but I wish I could have just gotten the lids replaced instead of returning the whole set ... that way I could start cooking right away!

The item was shipped in its original box which wasn't very sturdy. Every piece arrived dented and scratched. Nice set but expect to have to exchange if this happens to you. Update 03/01/23: I've been using these for over 3 years now and I still love them, they clean up amazingly well with a little barkeepers friend. Watch a video on how to use them and I promise you'll never want to use a non-stick again. These are professional chef quality pieces that will last a very long time.

love this set, less expensive than some others but great solid quality construction

The big frying fan stained a lot even after use at low to mid heat, compared to small pan. All pans in the photo are after 1st use at low to med heat. All are quite heavy, and not as stackable as I'd expected . Aside from staining, also encountered sticking food even when using oil at low heat. Aesthetic-wise they look good. Overall, not for the fussy user and always expect to scrub clean the sticking food.
