I bought this fur a friend for Christmas. She loves it, it’s not that it’s spiral bound, good instructions and nice pictures of the items.

Not the best book from this company.
Well I have mixed feelings about having mixed feelings about this book. I really liked the beginners crochet book I bought from this publication because it was so helpful and informative. I have gone back and used it as a reference several times . This one I was less excited about. While the patterns are definitely beginner friendly if you know your basics, the patterns feel dull and you get like 19 patterns for granny squares. At this point I was tempted to return it. Now the reason I have given this book 3 stars instead of five is because I feel that the very first granny square pattern is incorrect and causes concern for me about the rest of the patterns. While it is a correct pattern for a granny triangle it is not a square and doesn't match the given picture. if I knew nothing about granny squares I would have been thoroughly confused. I have decided to return it. I am planning on purchasing a different crochet book from this same publication. See pics of patterns and what I made according other directions. Am I wrong?

I’m a relatively new crocheter, been doing it for about a year now, and have already collected a LOT of patterns and a few books. I picked this one up on a sale and it has some cute projects. I haven’t made any of them yet, but do plan to. Patterns seem easy to follow and there are pictures of each project. For the price I’d say this is worth it for any new or relatively new/novice crocheter. :)
