Moeller Rubber Boat Transom Pad

Bought my first about 3-1/2 years ago. In Florida (winter) sun, it starts to crack almost immediately. I didn't need to replace immediately as it was doing what it needs to do on the transom. Moeller replaced it with no question. I finally replaced it on the boat this season (December) and it has already cracked clear across the top of the transom. I lost the outboard side when I removed the motor for repair. Good, heavy duty rubber, but I think the UV gets to it immediately.

Looked good when installed.

The thickness of the rubber was a little light to handle a 50 horsepower motor on my transom. I wouldn't recommend it for a larger engine but it would be fine for anything under 20 horsepower.

The matt really took the vibration out of the boat. I would recomend it to anyone who owns an outboard.

Broke in half after one season. Taped it together and am still using it. My old one was thicker. I should have kept it when I sold my old boat.

Worked as expected.

POS lasted one year before it split and cracked, I bought this one because it was the same brand of the one I had for 20 years and I expected more than 1 year life.
