Really fun and worth the price
The first time I played it, it was really fun with the online matches and I thought that the free roam in storm 2 was a waste of time, so I'm okay with them removing it. I understand why CC2 did not polish it enough as they were working on Asura's Wrath. I hope that storm 3 will be a game of the YEAR. If you wanna play with me, my gamer tag is DatDeric. For the delivery, it came in tiptop condition and earlier than the estimated date. That's all I have to say, peace!

The anime has hit the console!
Any good fighting game should be easy to pick up and play after getting to know the controls for a few minutes, and Naruto SUSG does just that! A huge selection of characters and assist characters from the anime alone gives you a lot to work with, and they're all fun to play as.I love the anime cutscenes in this game too, my only complaint being that there were more of them as opposed to the still-shot pictures for cutscenes. I felt that would've made it a fully-immersive Naruto experience. That's all there is to complain about for me though. The tournaments and collecting Ninja Info Cards kept me busy far after I had finished the story modes, so this definitely has replay value. Check it out!

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Storm Generations Review
Ok, i loved this game, but i gotta say, Naruto Ultimate Storm 2 was a little better. I mean not to hurt anyone who loves this games feelings, this game was good! Really good! I really liked being able to play in the charectures past, but i like the other game a little better because it gave you a chance to explore the world of Naruto, like you had a chance to pick up items and sell them, you could go into the forest and walk around, but in this game you just basically fight. I really didnt like how the intro to every fight was just a picture of the talking charecture. This isnt a game for someone who likes to go on missions and go collect items and just explore, but for those who love the fighting, this is the right game for you.

NO STORY MODE
This game is great! And it came earlier than expected. The only bad part about this game is that I literally beat this whole game in a day. There is no open world story mode. More like a saga mode, with no cinimatic parts.

Steps forward...and backwards as well
I have played quite a few fighting games which include Naruto games. My favorite was Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. It had a great fighting system, a wide variety of characers, and an unbelievably deep single-player experience. I hadn't even watched Shippuden, and by the time I was done I had lived through the story without the filler episodes. But this I digress, this is not about UNS2, it is about Generations. Generations has the same fighting system with a few changes. The most noticeable is the substitution bar that illustrates the amount of substitutions you have left. The max you can have is four, and they regenerate if you wait awhile before using another substitution. This really helps balance out the game, and can also make the battles longer. The fight can go from an intense fist/substitution crazed brawl to a long range battle in seconds while the players wait to regenerate their substitution bar. Another major gameplay change I noticed is that you can customize your tool palette (you can have up to ten palettes). This is really useful for strategies pertaining to particular characters. The only downfall, is that you CANNOT customize your tool palettes from the fighting menu. You must go to the main menu, then to the Collection option, and then when you're done you can return to the free battle mode. The sequel to UNS2 features a much larger cast of characters and abilities. A good portion of these characters are only available as support, but these are relatively minor characters so it doesn't matter much to me. Quite honestly, the single-player experience to this game is a huge letdown. I enjoyed the fights, but the overall immersion into the Naruto universe was lacking. There were scenarios for certain major characters that highlighted major battles, but vaguely went over the story before and after the battle. To not be confused out of your mind you must be very well used to the Naruto story (via Manga, Anime, or other games). The story went slightly farther than UNS2, but not by much. Seeing as the storytelling was so poor, that's not necessarily a bad thing; the farther they went, the more confused you would become. The single-player also lacks the Quick Time Event boss battles that its predecessors possessed, which is honestly a huge let-down, but that also has to due with poor storytelling. Finally (in terms of story so I can stop bashing it), a lot of the battles repeat. I guess they felt the need to repeat battles because you have a loose choice on how you play through the story scenarios. But even still, it's very annoying. In conclusion, the free-battle/multiplayer aspect of this game is its strong suit. There are tournament and survival modes that enhance the game's replay value. Basically, if you're considering this for a single-player only experience- I would at least rent this, this is NOT a bad game at all(despite my single-player bashing) but if you do not intend on playing it with others it will get old quickly. But if you're getting this to play with friends (Like I did) then buy it now.

I feel cheated
The game is awesome! but I couldn't play at all because the cd didn't work, it had scratches and my xbox couldn't read anything. The worst part is that I live outside the U.S. and couldn't do anything for return it. I lost my money.

Be careful with this company
The disc came very scratched but it worked fine until I played the story mode and it didn't work. I had to download the game to my drive for it to work. Be cautious people

awesome
This game is amazing. The graphics are good and the story mode is great except its kind of short. It makes up for it with its multiplayer mode. It has the most playable characters of any Naruto game. Buy this today!
