I purchased the Blue Stop mainly for my daughter who suffers from Juv. Rheumatoid Arthritis. She said that it has helped her affected joints a lot. I've used it a few times, but this time I have noticed a marked improvement in a sudden issue I developed. Last week at some point I started having really bad left shoulder pain. I could not lift it without the help of my other arm...very slowly and was in constant pain. Years ago, I had rotator cuff issues at different times in both shoulders that were resolved via physical therapy. My automatic response to the pain and symptoms were, oh, no! Not a rotator cuff situation! I was thinking what can I do? So I started just stretching my arm to the side and pressing on the stretched shoulder for both sides, then putting my arm/hand behind my head and pushing it down as much as possible. Very painful for the left side. Then I remembered I had some Blue Stop from this purchase in 2017. I started rubbing it in my front shoulder...had a hard time reaching the back, but a day or so later, I stretched as much as I could and when I touched my back shoulder right above my underarm, there was a huge knot there! I rubbed the blue stop into the knot morning and night, but really having a hard time reaching it. Last night I noticed a big difference and not as much pain. Today, the knot is much better and pain is too and I have a lot more mobility. I do not know what causes those knots, but it was also causing pain up to my neck. I'm elated I didn't have to go to a doctor...and plan on applying heat to the knot, as well as incorporate the PT exercises from the past. I attribute the improvement mostly to the Blue Stop!

As someone who experiences nerve and muscle pain, I have tried various mentholated muscle pain products. When I see something new I like to try it. I might as well be the Hank Hill of pain salve and pain salve accessories, I'll tell you hwhat. First impressions and uses for me are not bad. I wish the label was a bit more transparent to show the percentages of menthol or camphor. The smell is great. I personally love the smell of menthol, but I know it is off putting to some people. This doesn't smell strongly of menthol, and it has a nice clean scent. The product goes on easily like lotion, there is a bit of a oily feeling, but nothing crazy greasy like balm products (tiger balm, icy hot, etc.) It also doesn't go in feeling gritty and slimy like biofreeze, which is nice. The biggest comparison I'll make is to sombra, which is sort of like biofreeze, but more of a lotion consistency. The cold feeling is nice and soothes my back and neck pain, I see that it includes "Emu Oil, MSM, glucosamine, CFAs", in which I honestly cannot tell much of a difference using this vs a product without it. I feel as if sombra and biofreeze provide a stronger cold feeling and also works a bit more instantly. Blue stop max feels a bit lighter with the menthol and a touch greasier but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Will I buy this again? Maybe, but I've been a fan of Sombra cool for a long time and prefer it over many others.

It works for sore muscles, Has a smell but evaperates quickly.

Have used this product for years and it always does the trick for my muscle and joint pain. Good value and good performance. What more could you ask for?

very dissatisfied with the fragrance amount. there is more fragrance than menthol and it is not pleasant to me at all and the worst part is that if you apply this three. times daily it soaks into all your clothes and furniture and hair and everything. horrible. why this even has fragrance added is beyond me but having more than the active ingredient, menthol, is concerning

This was recommended & I had to try it. The smell is pleasantly amazing unlike most. It works - temporarily but any relief is better than none & again it does help! It’s light & not sticky. I am satisfied.
