Works well and so convenient to use since Cisco places the micro USB port in the front. It's micro USB on one end and USB A connector on the other so no special converter adapters are required. The RJ45 serial interface are mostly in the rear which can be a pain to reach with the older serial cables that also require an DB9 to USB A adapter.

Doesn't work
This cable doesn't work, even with the Cisco or Silicon Lab drivers installed/updated, Windows 11 doesn't detect a USB device connection when plugged in.

didn’t connect
unfortunately the cord never was able to connect my device to my computer. the cord looks fine and both plugs fit fine, but the device was never recognized.

Perfect for a technician
I've worked on Cisco equipment for over 10 years and always looked at the USB port funny because I had only seen or used the rollover cable for console sessions. This cable is great alternative that works just as well as the rollover. Perfect tool for a technician.
