These Sharpie pens write very well. I failed to test them all in the package before use. The last one is defective and does not retract like the others. Once the gel is constantly exposed because it does not retract, the gel is bound to dry quickly.

These are great pens. They flow well and write very smoothly. Much better than the usual advertising pens, and well worth the money.

Sharpie has done it again! I have many types of sharpie permanent markers and pens around the house but I wanted a regular gel pen for everyday use. I am incredibly pleased the this pen's performance! It writes so smoothly and all you need is a light touch. The pen itself is lightweight and sits nicely in my hand. The little finger-grip area is comfortable too. They do not bleed. They also don't smear in the way a normal pen does. I tested this out and only got the lightest of smears at the end of one word, and this happened *only* when I was *trying* to smear it immediately after it was written. (See video) The tiny smear is barely visible, and 99.9% of the time the pen is smear-free! I would buy in other colors and feel they are priced fairly.
