0.39" Element Cube Set 10mm Density Cubes Copper Iron Bismuth Titanium for Periodic Table Collection Up to 99.99% Purity (0.39“, 9-01)

This company makes great quality element cubes for collecting. I plan to get as many as I can! At 1 cm each they are small but still fun to collect. Mine came with the lead (Pb) which I was happy to see. For real fun buy this set and another that has tungsten (W). The tungsten is almost twice the density of the lead! I noticed the lead is getting a bit rounded, so I now keep it separate until I receive the acrylic cube these folks also sell. The laser etching on the iron (Fe) looks like it might already be oxidizing which I feel makes it look more interesting. The copper (Cu) is brushed and was very shiny when it showed up but is a bit dirty looking after handling it.

Super cool little gift for the STEM kid. Has most of them in it. Will last forever. They are small but when you get them all it makes a nice little display and conversation piece.

Although it took way longer than expected (wasn’t aware it was an out of country seller), the cubes were well worth the wait! They were clean and individually wrapped with care! They were exactly as described! Great start to an interesting collection for my budding scientist!! I also wanted to note, since shipping was taking longer than expected, I contacted the seller. They responded fast and professionally! I would definitely recommend this company and will continue to get more cubes from them!

It's a nice set. I purchased a "used - like new" set from the warehouse, and it must have been an older set with lead instead of bismuth. A little disappointing, since it's a gift for my 13-yr-old. It's okay, though. He asked for a tungsten cube, anyway, so I just swapped out the poisonous-brain-damage cube for the oh-my-god-this-is-freaking-heavy cube.

Faced with a cost of approximately $435.00 for calibration standards for an XRF we use these perfectly sized cubes to calibrate our handheld device. Not only are they cost effective, a 24-hour delivery is superior to a two-week delay (Supply Chain issues). In our unique situation the individually vacuum sealed packages mean the calibration standards are always clean, free of contaminants: overall, perfect.

I've just got them hanging out on my desk for me to play around with during meetings, but I also plan on using them in show-and-tell for my engineering class

Compré este juego de cubos metálicos junto con otro de metales diferentes, para uso profesional, en investigación. Se ven de muy buena calidad, buen tamaño y un precio razonable. Vienen muy bien empacados, para que no se contaminen. Muy recomendable. Tal vez se pueda sugerir al productor anexar un certificado de la composición de cada cubo.

Me funcionaron para explicar densidad y que los alumnos midieran y determinaran por ellos mismos los cálculos. Los recomiendo mucho!

Lo bueno: Son muy bonitos y se ven muy bien. Lo malo: No son del mismo tamaño en la foto se puede ver como el de cobre es un poco más pequeño qué los demás, no entiendo por qué si ni siquiera es el material más caro. Lo feo: Parece que incluye una caja pero no es así, viene cada cubito en bolsa individual. La caja de la foto ya la tenía yo.

This was a gift for my nephew - he loves science and collects minerals so he was thrilled with this.
