Good diet caffeine free soda.

Good flavor profile. Play with the amount of syrup in measuring cup to dial it flavor. My wife loves it. Saves money. No returning bags of cans. No heavy cases to haul.

I’m admittedly a Diet Coke addict. I’ve been trying to get away from aspartame and had considered the soda stream for several years before buying the one touch. I’m not a fan of the fruity flavored syrups. I tried the diet cola with caffeine and it’s appalling. It has a terrible aftertaste and smells like chemicals. Then, I tried the caffeine free cola. I’m growing rather fond of it. It has a good flavor with no surprise taste or smell. It doesn’t have as much as fiz and the little bit of bite as Diet Coke, but it goes down smooth. I’ll keep buying it.

I'd considered a soda stream machine for years and never made a purchase until a few weeks ago. Since I purchased mine, I am glad I bought one. The flavorings are interesting and I admit, I've not bought them all. The diet Dr. Pete is pretty good. Is it exactly like the name brand, debatable, but then do I put in the exact right amount of flavoring, maybe not. What I like is you can use soda stream machine and carbonate your water and add the flavoring and tinker with it by squeezing in some fresh lime or lemon juice or add some pomegranate juice or I'll take store sparkling water and add the flavoring to that instead of using the machine. The combinations are endless and fun to experiment with. Honestly you can buy the flavoring and don't need the machine just use store carbonated water. Get busy you mad scientists... The price I paid is much higher than buying from Wal-Mart or Target. Guess if you're not close to any of those stores you're out of luck. Amazon is usually very price competitive, not on this item.

Update 7/6/20: Every time I get these - they are leaking. Hey SodaStream - can you use a better container/bottle that doesn't leak? These bottles suck. Every time at least one is leaking and today all 4 in the package were leaking. For me this means having to cut all the labels off and wipe each bottle down to get all the syrup off. Let alone the waste of syrup. Get with it and find a better designed bottle that doesn't leak. I was looking for an alternative so I did not have to lug home cases of diet coke and this fits the bill. Love it - will be ordering more. Just ordered the Diet Dr P. version and the Diet Root beer. I can say the Diet Dr. Tastes pretty good. Revising my rating from 5 to 4 stars due to every single package having at least one bottle that was leaking. It was a stick mess and took some time to clean up. I had to remove the outer plastic label as the syrup had gotten under it and was leaking from there but coming from the lid. I think the lid design could use some work.

Not a whole lot to say, this stands up even to the Dr. P Zero brand. If you're a Dr P fan, and need to ditch the sugar, this is a solid alternative. The only thing I would say add to that is, while it tastes great, be aware that it has Sucralose as a sweetener. Sucralose doesn't do your gut biome a lot of favors, so some restraint is advised even if its zero calorie. As for value, I get a fair bit of mileage out of a bottle because I have developed a sensitivity to sweet due to a carnivore based diet. I use roughly half of the amount of syrup what most people do, and typically only 2-3 servings a week, so for me it goes a great deal further than most. However I recommend scaling back the amount of syrup on a slow/consistent basis, after a few months you'll notice a a definite increase in value.

The diet soda stream is excellent the only problem was it was priced rather high
