Keeps your valuable drive safe and secure! I had originally got this just as any old enclosure. I didn't really care too much about the rugged/waterproof features. But after actually receiving it, I'm actually really impressed with the durability and stability of this case! The inside has a heavy rubber encasing that surrounds your entire drive. The front and black plates have two small adhesive foam pads to further stabilize the drive. 6 screws holds it all together. And then the entire outside edge is once again encased in a thick rubber buffer. The attached USB is SUPER handy. No more finding cords or carrying them with you, its just right there when you need it and tucks away into the top when you don't. It's just snugg enough to not come out unless you WANT the cord to come out. And I even gave the cord a few really good tugs to make sure that it was actually attached securely to the chip-mount, and there isn't any movement at all. Not to mention I actually think this case is the coolest looking enclosure I've ever had. Sure its a bit bigger and heavier than others, but it's durable. and the rubber seals supposedly make it waterproof (I don't doubt this one bit). If you need to regularly move and transport your hard drives and are worried about damage and bumps and drops, this IS the case for you! Beyond what I expected!

Using a budget WD Blue SSD on an 8 year old computer it just rinses modern USB flash drives. The difference in speed is not even close. I wasn't expecting this to work so well. Fast, cheap and robust.

Great design at a great price. Opens easily with 6 phillips screws that keep hard shell secured around a pliant rubber gasket/bumper and carrier that cradles the drive. Drive slides into carrier securely. Carrier provides very substantial shock absorption and looks like it should also be well-sealed from moisture (i didn't test but it leaves no doubt). Shell is rigid and strong. Integrated sturdy USB cable stores easily and securely around outer edge of bumper offering further shock absorption for an edge hit. Cable storage provides protection for the USB plug. Installed drive is detected immediately. Data transfers at full drive speed (e.g., 75 MB/s) Blue LED shines through one side of case to show operation.

se ve un producto de buena calidad. me encanta que lleve el cable incorporado y además puede quedar recogido completamente. a parte de los bordes de goma de seguridad, el propio cable también sirve de refuerzo (al quedar guardado) en caso de que se caiga. no es de los productos baratos, pero es bueno y fácil de instalar
