Aesthetica Cosmetics Cream Contour and Highlighting Makeup Kit - Contouring Foundation/Concealer Palette - Vegan & Cruelty Free - Step-by-Step Instructions Included

I purchased for a family member who reports that she is very satisfied with the product. She believes it will last her longer than other contour kits and the colors match her completion well.

I bought this product as a beginning contour kit. I would say I'm reasonably experienced in the basics of makeup (foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, concealer, lipstick) but have recently felt the urge to delve deeper into its many facets. Among these are the infamous contouring and highlighting. I originally watched a video review of both this kit and the IT Cosmetics kit: cream vs. powder, less contrasting vs. more contrasting colors, different packaging, etc. After a lot of pros and cons, I decided to go with this one, as the colors seemed to apply well, it is compact, and it offers more shades that are closer to my own skin tone (fair/light). I was initially disappointed upon receiving this product. It arrived covered in a thin layer of bubble wrap inside of an envelope, whereas I had expected it to arrive nicely packaged and boxed up. Furthermore, because of the close proximity of the product and its packaging, the warm weather of that day heated it up and upon opening the contour kit, some of the cream on the top had melted and turned into a liquid film. You can imagine that I was NOT a happy camper. However, the cream did work fairly well (after everything cooled off and dried). You have to layer a bit, and I consider that a plus since I'm a beginner and less is more. The shades apply with more of an orange tone than I would prefer, particularly with my skin since anything that deviates even a bit from normal shows up more on light tones. I have not experienced any breakouts from the product. The packaging of the actual product, in contrast to its arrival state, is quite nice; it comes inside a cardboard slip along with a packet that tells you how to contour and highlight different areas of your face as well as offers diagrams for a visual aid in how to contour and highlight various face shapes. Upon opening the actual cream kit, there is another (transparent plastic) diagram of a woman's face with marks indicating general areas where one would contour and highlight. Overall, I think that this is an acceptable beginning contour kit. The cream is of good quality, does not wear off over the course of the day, and layers well. The shades are versatile. The fact that they comes off orange may only be the result of my skin type (I have the same problem with drugstore foundations). I am deducting a star mainly because of the state in which this product arrived, and I hope that this will not happen to other people.

Great product great product

I wanted to love this contour palette because I have the powder version and I have been using that for a few months now and it is great! So maybe my expectations were a tad bit high for this. But I did experience both positive and negative things with this palette. Something I enjoyed is the look of the product; the palette itself looks nice and sleek and I like having it in my makeup collection. Another positive is that it comes with instructions on how to apply the different shades. My first issue with this is that the contour shades in the palette I received were not as creamy or as easy to apply as the lighter shades were. They seemed a little bit dry which made blending pretty difficult for me. I did not experience this with the lighter shades though I did have an issue with those too but my issue with the lighter shades probably won't be an issue for that many people. They are not light enough for me. I am very pale and the highlighting shades didn't do any highlighting for me. They were very creamy and easy to blend but I didn't get any benefit out of using them. Once they were blended in it was as if I didn't even apply anything. I have been trying to use this product over this past week to see if I can get some of the shades to apply any easier. One thing I did find is to not use this on top of matte foundation; this made it so much more difficult to apply and looked awful on me.

This came on time. Was well wrapped. Envelope design had a bubble wrap layer inside . When I pulled out product, it was in its own bubble warp pouch. It's extremely hot right now. Over 100 degrees. I was afraid it would melt or ooze. It did not. It was perfectly fine. The look of the contour kit is so nice. Smooth and sleek. The contour kit design really pops. A added bonus for me because i thought it looked high end and professional.. It was my first time using a kit to contour of any kind.. I've used darker Fondation and lighter to do contouring in the past. I wanted to try the real version for a long while. I worried I'd buy it and it would not be that much of a difference to actually want to use it. I'm glad I did finally purchase it. I love this! Was so easy to use. I did great first try. Plenty of instructions. I found my face shape but did not want to use all the contouring it showed. I only did my cheeks, Jaw line and forhead.. Personal preference. . Crazy how just a dab and a smear in the right place makes such a big difference. I like that it didn't take much to make me look a little more glamorous. A little went a long way for me. I'm glad I went sparingly as I tried it. If u dont, u will use to much. It does not feel thick. I have very oily skin. I struggled with it hourly until I found a makeup routine that works for me and stops it. So I was concerned this contour cream would make me a oil slick again by adding it to my face. It did not. So I'm very happy to add this to my cosmetics collection. When i run out of this product, I will buy this again.

I couldnt wait to recieve my Aesthetica cosmetics cream contour and highlighting make up kit which I had read about and seen online in magazines and been so The make up box is of very high standard, you can open lid comfortably without feeling its going to break. When lid is open seeing is believing!!! Utterly stunning makeup!! I was not dissopointed with what great things I had read on amazon reviews. Once opened the lid of the kit is mirrored perfect for home and travel. Full set of advice and step by step instructions on how to get that proffessional look. The quality of pigments truly is such good quality, and this makes it so easy to apply and blend. I love this makeup and am so glad I decided to pay more than usual price because this has certainly raised the bar in quality and its so much easier to use than others i have used before. I think this would make a fantastic gift if someone was looking to buy as the colours would suit most skin types. Also its a name people recognise now for quality so would be so appreciated. Cons - none Advice/tips worth investing in some good brushes to use with this

I ordered the contour cream as advertised for my wife. Upon arrival it turned out that it was powder and not cream. Do not purchase from this provider if you are after cream.

Buen producto y me dura el maquillaje!! Me encanta estos tonos yo uso solo dos pero son perfectos para mi tono! Lo recomiendo 100% e probado otros x ahorrar y merece la pena pagar 27 euros aunke tampoco es tan caro para la calidad que tiene muy satisfecha

Zu aller erst war ich wirklich sehr skeptisch wegen des Produktes, da ich die Marke nicht kannte und der Preis doch recht hoch für eine Contouring Palette ist. Als das Paket ankam, war ich wirklich positiv erfreut, über die qualitative Verpackung. Außen ist eine dünne Hülle, mit dem Namen vorne drauf, und hinten mit den verschiedenen Farben mit Namen und Erklärung. Schiebt man das Kästchen da raus, kann man es nach oben aufklappen. Im inneren sieht man einen Spiegel, sowohl eine Schablone, welche auf den Farben liegt, welche als Beispiel dient, wo man die Farben auftragen kann. Die Deckung der Farben ist wirklich ausgezeichnet, und trotz empfindlicher Haut habe ich keine Probleme mit diesem Produkt. Die Farben lassen sich auch ausgezeichnet verblenden, sodass kein Rand entsteht, und sie verlaufen auch ziemlich gut ineinander. Ich bin einfach nur absolut begeistert, und kann sie wirklich nur jedem weiter empfehlen, sie ist wirklich ihr Geld wert.
