Better than the hard ones

It soft and as far comfortable.

I have used both microbead and memory foam travel pillows over the years to help me stabilize my neck when reading or watching TV. I have a tendency to doze off, which leads to my head falling and... yeah. You know the drill LOL I've found that while memory foam pillows offer a lot of firm support, it's almost restrictive. Helpful if you want to keep your head up while recovering from dental surgery, but maybe not as ideal for travel. This pillow offers just the right amount of support. Plus I've found it helpful when sleeping in bed. I put my arm through the hole and hug it to my chest (side sleeper) and for whatever reason, that helps me relax more. Docked one point because I'm torn on the covering. One half is a little too slick and the other half plush, like a stuffed animal. I'd prefer something like a faux velvet, if that makes sense. But it's definitely worth a try at the price point it's offered at!

First of all, this pillow is terrifically comfortable and lightweight. It has one smooth side and one side like velour which is a little warmer if you get cold. It also feels weightless to carry around if you're concerned about lugging around a heavy pillow. However, it's biggest downfall is the cheezy little plastic snap. Unlike other pillows with a hook or loop, the only thing which keeps this pillow attached to your backpack or carry on is a little plastic snap that will not stay closed and comes unsnapped with the slightest bump. On my maiden trip with the pillow, it came unsnapped and fell off my backpack twice. Both times fellow travelers alerted me that it had fallen off so I didn't loose it, otherwise, it would be gone. To fix this, I am going to take the ridiculously large plastic like tags (2 of them), sew them together and put in a grommet that I can clip to my pack. Were it not for this little hack, I would look for another one. I'll let you know if it works. UPDATE: The last photo I added was my attempt to make this product a little more travel friendly. I took that otherwise ridiculously large tag, folded it in half to add thickness and added a brass grommet that easily accomodates a little clip that will securely attach to my carry-on. I think the tag will hold because it is a tyvek type material which is rip resistant. And it is actually two tags so it gives quite a bit of support. I'm happy with the pillow now, but wish it would have had something like this when i bought it instead of having to do my own mod.

Best sleeping pillow to use with my neck brace!

Just can’t sleep without this microbead neck pillow! So much better than foam. Beads get a bit smaller after about 1 year, but totally usable. I periodically put this in a garment bag and wash/dry it with my sheets.
