I’ve always loved my Tweezerman sharp tweezers, so much so that I picked up a second pair just for ingrown hairs. But unfortunately my cat jumped on the bathroom counter and kicked them into the garbage and by the time I realized what had happened the garbage was out and picked up. Since they’re expensive I started to explore different options and came across this pair. Let me tell you — these things are AMAZING. The tip is long and sharp and these tweezers are affordable! I had a really stubborn ingrown hair and these removed the hair beautifully and with such precision I was so impressed. These also works wonderfully for splinters. I’m seriously singing the praises of these tweezers. For the price you truly can’t beat the quality and how well these work. Don’t hesitate — these are a must have in any household!

No question these are theeeeee best, most functional tweezers I’ve ever had!! 2 VERY IMPORTANT points to learn from my review. Because people tend not to have great attention spans these days, I will first write about caring for the tweezers - about how you MUST handle these “gems” like that old game “Operation.” 1) do not drop the tweezers on a floor or mishandle them or misuse them. Ie). If you try to pull something out of your garbage disposal with these, or extract something buried in your car seat rails, you may as well just throw the tweezers out or re-purpose them for DIY projects. Respect these tweezers-NO JOKE!!. There’s a reason the set comes with caps and a special case. Yep, handle these precious beauty tools like a newborn baby ‘cuz if you drop them the wrong way (especially on a tile floor), you risk them not working properly. SERIOUSLY!! Who knew there needed to be a handbook for tweezers? TLC only my fellow Amazon sisters and brothers!! This tweezer lesson is really not anything about Tweezer Guru brand - it’s truly about every set of tweezers. 2). These Tweezer Guru instruments can pull hair out that is barely there!! Also, with a careful precise and patient process, you can even get hair that’s just laying in wait (for complexion misery) under the skin. Those are the hairs I fear the most!! I can see them, yet I know it’s a gamble if I try to yank them out before their maturity date. This style of Tweezer Guru Instruments is your best bet!!! I’m not saying it’ll work every time but I have had better luck with these ones than any other brand ever ever EVER!!

One of these tweezers had a slimmer end, which got bent super easily and became un-usuable, but the other one has held up for a long time so im satisfied.

For the past 15 years, I had encountered several bouts of frustration with removing ingrown hairs from my lower legs. You see, my ingrown agony all began when I'd started experiencing extreme itchiness on my lower legs, following constant use with a disposable shaver and shaving cream. And with that itchiness came the appearance of dozens upon dozens of ingrown hairs. I then decided to ditch the disposable razor and shaving cream for good (heeding my longtime friend's advice) and went to visit my nearest beauty salon, where I received hair wax removal treatment upon my lower legs by a skilled beauty specialist. Yet while this same specialist also used tweezers to remove my ingrowns following waxing, she was having EXTREME difficulty in removing the deepest ingrown hairs, even after quite a few return appointments. And with each appointment costing between $35-$45 (and NOT bringing the desired results), I finally decided to purchase a Remington epilator and a set of sharp Maybelline tweezers to remove those darn ingrowns. Yet despite upgrading to a Remington epilator and Maybelline tweezers (after brief, warm showers and moisturizing), the NEVERENDING frustration simply WOULD NOT subside, not with the persistent itchiness and return of yet more ingrowns. After overuse of the epilator, I would develop a slight rash upon my lower legs. And to worsen matters, the Maybelline tweezers, with their loop-shaped handles, soon became a burden on my tired right hand fingers and after more than 10 years of using them to remove the ingrowns, I simply decided to stop use altogether. Then just late last month, while on vacation in Lakewood, Washington, I finallly decided upon getting an efficient pair of tweezers that would ULTIMATELY remove those FRUSTRATING ingrowns, once and for all. You see, my Aunt Liz (whom I'd been visiting in Lakewood with my mom, aunt from San Jose, CA and 2 longtime friends) had known for several years about my lower leg ingrown hair problem and knew of a nearest longtime beauty salon known for its excellent services in hair wax removal. Upon seeing that my lower legs were in DEFINITE need of wax hair removal (despite my protests-remember, my previous experiences with this sort of hair removal were DISAPPOINTING ones!!), my beloved Aunt Liz insisted we visit this salon for my walk-in treatment. And lo and behold, despite the slight pain of the hair removal, the service was EXCELLENT!! And following the thorough waxing, the salon specialist, a pretty young Vietnamese named Kim, was using a set of sturdy black metal tweezers that were doing a VERY EFFICIENT job in PAINLESSLY removing at least a good portion of my longtime FRUSTRATING-AS-EVER ingrowns. After she removed at least a tad more than half of my ingrowns, Kim showed me the excellent black TweezerGuru tweezers. She and her salon associate, another young Vietnamese named Susie, told me that their salon, as well as a few other salons in the Lakewood area, had decided to switch to these tweezers, simply due to their ability to gently and cleanly remove the most deepest ingrown hairs-without somewhat tearing the skin (which was the ENDLESS problem I'd encountered with the silver Maybelline tweezers). Kim then told me that her salon had ordered several sets of TweezerGuru through Amazon Prime-thankfully of which I am a proud member!! So after hugely thanking both Kim and Susie, my Aunt Liz paid the full $40 for my walk-in hair removal appointment (and due to the EXCELLENT service, I paid Kim a well-deserved $12 tip!!). Then later that same evening, I immediately ordered the black pair of TweezerGuru tweezers through Amazon Prime. And after they'd arrived on my doorstep here in Sunnyvale, California just a few days later, I'd carefully opened the parcel envelope and studied the sleek, sharp design of the tweezers. Not long after, following a brief, yet soothing shower and some skin moisturizing, I finally decided to give these babies a try. And lo and behold, just as Kim had mentioned, the black TweezerGuru tweezers were MOST EFFECTIVE in removing those deep ingrowns VERY CLEANLY, with their firm, yet gentle grip. And they did so effectively, WITHOUT tearing the skin on my lower legs!! So finally, after 15 LONG years of ingrown hair frustration, these beautiful tweezers have solved my longtime problem!!

The tips are SO pointy they’re sharp. I started plucking somewhat fast like I usually do with tweezers at least twice a week. I know it’s technically my fault but I cut myself twice y’all! Two line scratches like if a cat did them. I’ve never had tweezers cut me so I just thought I’d say that. They’ve been pretty decent/good at getting the hairs for me to pull out compared to other tweezers this price. So I’ll still use them here and there but still holding on to my old tweezers and using them lol

Very good tweezer to get those stubborn hairs

Le pinzette di precisione non sono tutte uguali ....queste sono veramente perfette, le due punte ,dallo spessore adattoacombaciano benissimo e comode da tenere in mano. Si sa, basta che tutti QS tipi di pinzette cadano di punta anche solo nel lavabo, per dire, e diventano inutilizzabili. Andate tranquilli che il prodotto è molto valido, prenderne due subito si fa prima
