PT here and I researched several products before buying. This bed rail is sturdy and amazingly easy to install. It is compact and the perfect size. Works very well I can see there are less expensive options but I would buy this product again given how great it performs. Easy transfers in and out of bed and helps with rolling.

This was for my wife who had a heart attack in November that really made her weaker. It is such a great help for getting out of the bed! It has pockets for putting things in like the TV remote. No more looking under the bed to find it!We have a King size bed. It took us a little while to get in on. (If you are not familiar with King sized beds, they have two box springs the size of a standard twin bed with one mattress.) This means the mattress has to come off and separate the box springs to put it on. I thought about reducing to four starts, but the benefit of the rail off set getting it in place,I would buy it again without question

It does the job of keeping a restless, sleeping-adult person from falling out of bed, which was our problem. It also greatly assists my husband being able to pull himself up from a prone position. The pocket has not been used, but I am sure it will come in handy, I find it a little difficult making the bed, and it took my son and me to install the rail. All said, I am very happy with the product and it has eased my worry. Thanks for being there after my husband had a bad fall out of bed. The price fit our budget as well. JC

My mom was recently diagnosed with Parkinsons and was released from in patient rehab and wanted something to help her get out of bed on her own. This fit without a box spring under her mattress and I liked that it had feet that planted to the floor and the strap fit perfectly for a queen size bed with plenty of slack (if needed for a bigger bed).She said she likes it and can get out of bed comfortably on her own.

I pre-ordered the bedrail to set up the twin size bed before my surgery. I needed some assistance in getting in and out of bed.After reading a bunch of reviews, decided to order this one because I like the square top instead of the arch top for better grip and balance with the side pocket. I am sure glad that I ordered this. This worked out great. Helped me tremendously for my independence on getting in and out of bed. Very happy with the purchase.

This product is not an example of "getting what you pay for....." While the bar is sturdy and checks all the blocks for anchoring strap, adjustability and comfort grip, the one I purchased for half this price (at the same time) is actually as good if not better! The less expensive bar is thicker in the part that one grabs, and seems sturdier overall. I purchased this one for the side my elderly mother uses to get in and out of bed, and the less expensive one for the seldom used side, but decided to reverse them when I saw relative quality. I recommend the less expensive Medline bar. I will update this review in a few months, once we see how both products hold up under daily use

I love the small size and the fact that it sets on the floor. My sister uses it for balance when getting in bed (it's quite sturdy) and it keeps her from falling off the bed. The pockets are super convenient as well.

She did not like bed rail because it's in her face when she lies down and can't reach the nightstand. Some elderly people just won't have something that will help them but that's ok. Weather we understand or not all we can do is try to make their life better without forcing it on them. They are people too!BUT was very sturdy and worked well. They need to make white ones. Or maybe they do. I didn't look for one.
