Sheamoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Body Lotion - 13 Oz (Packaging may vary)

( I was very excited about this product. Even though I saw someone complaining in the reviews about the change in the ingredients (they added water). I thought it couldn't be so bad. Well, it is. I think you can even feel the water when you're applying it. It has a weird wet sensation that later vanishes and starts to feel more like a body cream. Afterward, my skin feels thick and oily... *sigh*. I mean is ok I guess, but definitely, it is not the wonder it claims to be. Maybe it was before changing the ingredients. A friend recommended me the hair line products, maybe I have better luck with those.... -Ok in this paragraph I will write the update of my review. After maybe less than a month using this product my perspective really changed. First, I change the container. I put all the cream in a reused container of butter cream. I don't know but I think that that, helped to evaporate some of the water and thus, the watery feeling I would get at the beginning. Now I only feel the creamy and normal texture. It is nice, and I can feel how my skin is protected. I still think that they shouldn't use water in their ingredients because it is obviously not mixing well but definitely, despite that, is the best cream I've ever tried and I will keep buying it. I love that doesn't have parabens and a bunch of sh* that most of the creams have now. Also, and last, the moisture feeling remains for almost 24 hrs...good good

This is second in my heart only to coconut oil itself! For that reason, I like to put it in my luggage for trips because coconut oil is too messy for travel. Super creamy, kind of like shea butter. Because of the mild thickness, it's a little hard to get out at first, because they pack the bottle all the way to the top for the max product, but that goes away after a little while. Comes out thicker than your usual st ives or other cheap-o lotions that you reapply during the day, but applies like butter and absolutely lasts all day. No greasy feeling either, but I apply it a little lighter on my face. Did I mention it smells just as good as the other products in the orange SM line, but not as strong. Scent goes away, and isn't too strong as to prevent you from wearing your favorite perfumes :)

This is my first time purchasing this. I bought it along with the body wash. This lotion is very thick and creamy. The scent lingers for quite a long time. I was, frankly, quite impressed. I'm used to lotions smelling great at the time of application, but then the scent fades rather quickly. Not so with this lotion. The Coconut & Hibiscus scent is absolutely heavenly.

This is one of my favorite lotions but it is really a cream and difficult to get out of the bottle. You have to store it upside down to have a fighting chance. It's really thick- which is nice- but very hard to squeeze out of the bottle. I have to take the top off and pound it in my hand to get it out. I wish it was offered in a jar. This being said, it is an amazing body cream. Thick and luxurious. I love the scent. Not over powering but very natural.

this stuff smells amazing!!!! I have used the shampoo and body wash, but the shampoo left my hair feeling a bit too thick (not sure if it's because I'm Caucasian but I know many Caucasians who use Shea Moisture products, and I know it's not SPECIFIC for African Americans. My kids use the Baby head to toe wash). So I just use the lotion and body wash. I put this on right when I come out of the shower and it keeps me soft and moisturized all day! And I love that Shea Moisture products are safe and rate a #1 with the Environmental Working Group, which is a WIN for me. I use the coconut hibiscus detangler on my daughter, too.

My favorite lotion, I wish they wouldn't have discontinued & replaced with a thinner product due to complaints. I have the newer versions of this product!

Oh this stuff is great!! I live in Mn. where the winters are so cold and the weather really does a job on my skin. You really have to try this. The smell is absolutely wonderful, clean and nice. This is not quite a lotion, it is a little thicker which I really like. It definitely does not sit on the top of your skin. It blends great!! It has been a long time since I found something like this. I have psoriasis and of course as we all know nothing takes that away but this lotion has gotten rid of the white scales on my elbows and truly has smoothed out my skin, it looks good. Give this a try at the price, I don't think you will be disappointed.

My skin gets very dry and itchy in the winter, forcing me to use a lot of lotion. I wanted to try something with less or no chemicals. I started applying this lotion each morning after showering and before bed. The itchy skin has definitely subsided. This product is more a body butter and goes on very thick, but seems to coat all day long. Some reviewers mentioned it being too greasy with an overpowering smell. I have not experienced either. There is a scent but after applying, I can barely notice it on my skin, even holding my arm directly beneath my nose, and I have a sensitive sense of smell. Different lots may be produced or stored differently...without all the chemicals, the product may degrade quicker, which could account for the smells and greasy feeling some reviewers have mentioned. Unfortunately, it’s mediocre rating is due to it being almost impossible to get out of the bottle. It is so thick that squeezing and even storing upside down barely make it move. Gravity is no match for this formula’s consistency! I think this product would be better if sold in a tub (similar to their leave-in conditioner). This aggrevating fight is not worth it and will probably prevent me from purchasing again, despite how well it soothed my dry, itchy skin.

The item and the description does not match. I had to wait some time to receive the product and in the end, it’s the wrong product. Love the brand but not the delivery.

favourite body lotion of all time, i can see a visible difference in my overall skin tone. less dark marks . absorbs well and smells amazing. it also leaves skin looking sooo juicy lool --- 10/10

Ma fille et moi l'utilisons

Do’ 4 stelle solo per l’odore fortissimo di Ibisco (quello del cocco e’ praticamente inesistente) che personalmente non amo molto anche se, dopo aver applicato la crema, risulta meno deciso e persistente...perche’ per il resto il prodotto e’ davvero ottimo. Anche se la consistenza e’ piuttosto corposa, la crema si assorbe bene senza causare sfoghi dovuti all’abbondante presenza di burro di karite’ ed effettivamente la pelle rimane idratata a lungo. Imballo accurato e consegna puntuale.
