Great for speed painting.
I am new to the contrast paints, but getting used to them. They seem to work best if you put them over a contrasting base (no pun) rather than over the top of a similar base , space marine blue over macharrage blue doesn’t give as high a contrast as space marine blue over fang or white. If you are looking to do high detail painting go with the traditional citadel base/layer/shade/edge, however if you are looking to speed paint for battle ready quickly these work well.
