I've bought this twice. Makes my nails grow and stay stronger. It might be helping with joints, didn't notice anything with hair or digestion. Actually yes I did with digestion. It does dissolve relatively quickly so that's good. Plus 20 grams protein per use is good.

Wow- this is at another level. I started taking this back in 2009 to avoid knee surgery, yep my orthopedic surgeon said there was a huge improvement on my knees. I did not share what l was taking, just went right along with life and no pain. This has also been a key factor on reducing my inflammation. I dropped 12 pounds not from being overweight but from inflammation. I love and swear by this product. It dissolves immediately with no noticeable taste. This is a staple for wellness in my home.

Works well in smoothies, hot beverages, even pancakes. Unflavored means it taste won't overtake what you've added it to. Truly unflavored - I've used other collagen products that leave a gross after taste. It dissolves best in not cold liquid or blender applications. For a quick breakfast on the run or a pick me up I'll sometimes dissolve a scoop or two in a couple ounces room temp water, add teaspoon each turmeric & ashwaganda powder, a tiny bit of maple syrup or liquid stevia; blitz with frother then add milk to top up glass. Health benefits: my hair has body that I haven't had since my teens, nails are less prone to tear (used to lose at least one to weekly laundry folding). Definitely have noticed benefit in skin, nail, hair health.

I use 2 scoops of unflavored Great Lakes Wellness grass-fed bovine collagen peptides powder every morning in my coffee, it dissolves quicky, really has no flavor! Almost 2 months of taking this and I can feel and see the difference in my skin and nails. I'm older woman, late 60's and I am on a healthy diet plan, so this a perfect start to my daily routine. I also take glucosamine chondroitin so I'm not certain if this product has relieved pain in my joints and/or cartilage, but I'm moving much better and I've been able to do some stretching and strength training, with 30 minutes or more of a rock n roll dance "routine". Last night's sleep was 7.5 quality hours, which is a distinct improvement of over an hour extra sleep. I don't have digestive issues, and the collagen powder hasn't caused any, so all in all I'm 'Subscribing and Saving' this in the 2 lb container. Hint - there are 2 different kinds/labels of this collagen, and the more expensive one costs over $5 more per 1 lb. container because the label says "Dissolves 2x faster" - but if you're putting it in your nice hot coffee or another hot drink, this less expensive "label" dissolves just fine and the product is exactly the SAME, so SAVE your MONEY - unless you use collagen powder in cold drinks.

Purchased based on careful quality research by an acquaintance who recommended. Have used about 8 months. Dissolves well in hot liquids. Although “unflavored “, I can detect it in coffee & use 1/2 scoop per each cup to limit the taste. Seeing a little improvement in splitting fingernails & hopefully helps bones, too. Doctor approves. Important it’s sourced & produced in the USA!

I've been using Great Lakes hydrolyzed collagen for several years now and am very happy with the product. I'm 65 and had been suffering with joint pain (knee, ankle, wrists) so bad I was wearing braces on my wrists and was struggling in the morning going down the stairs. I didn't want to go on medications and decided to try collagen; it has made all the difference. I no longer have wrist issues and can run up and down the stairs pain free. I also noticed my hip flexure has improved, as has my skin tone and nails. I take in my coffee or other hot beverage; it is tasteless and dissolves easily. Highly recommend.

When I tell you your collegen has been life altering, I mean no exaggeration. This product has really and truly altered my daily life! I am a 55 yo, menopausal Certified Nurse Assistant, Certified Dementia Practitioner. I just purchased this collagen from Great Lakes Wellness and I’m really excited to start using it! I did quite a bit of research before buying, and this brand kept coming up with amazing reviews, which definitely influenced my decision. It arrived quickly and the packaging feels clean and high quality. I also love that it’s unflavored, so I can easily mix it into my coffee or smoothies without changing the taste. I haven’t been using collagen long, so I’m looking forward to seeing improvements in my skin, hair, and nails over time. Based on everything I’ve read so far, I have high hopes for this one—feels like a solid choice!

Dont let low ratings fool you, i was worried too when i read those low rating reviews. But i still tried it because the collagen brand i was already using, still had some of the problems that were mentioned in the low rating reviews; a little smell, little grassy taste, and late dissolving so i thought what could go wrong but lucky me, this collagen literally solves all of the problem, i am literally amazed by how fast it dissolves, i m a late sleeper and late riser so i am always late for office, and when i am up, i want everything fast, this powder literally dissolves in seconds even in cool drinks/milk, no smell and taste at all. My problem for the collagen is literally solved. Don't know how beneficial it is because its only been 2 days i’ve purchased this and i couldn't wait to post a review.

Bought multiple times and will purchase again definitely. Bought it for my mum, it was recommended for her knees. It has improved her mobility and she has less pain than before. You just have to keep using it continously.

This product is amazing. Hands down, best collagen product I've tried. With consistent use, it actually makes my face glow. Totally tasteless, so you can put it in anything, and the consistency is so fine that it doesn't clump up like other collagen products can.

This is my 4th great lakes I have brought and I think this is absolutely a must try product, I have been taking this product for nearly a few months now and the benefits are a good result (for me) I take one table spoon in morning and one table spoon before bed in cold water... I have put a lot of research into this product and i know you can buy cheaper products out there but you never know if the powder comes from animals that have been grass fed naturally or fed with chemicals so I tend to stick with the positive research. I have noticed a lot of difference for example my nails are stronger and grow nicely but that works together with me not putting nail varnishes on my nails which contain harsh chemicals that actually ruin your nails and absorb into your body... also my hair has grown better and a little quicker meaning I am not Rapunzel but I have noticed a slight length :) and feels stronger, my stylist can not believe that I have not had my hair trimmed within 7 months (usually I have it cut every time I have my roots done 6-8 weeks) and together with my hair I don't used silicone/chemical based shampoo's conditioners etc that again ruin your hair and absorb into your body. my skin feels a lot better and I must admit on the backs of my thighs I did start to get faint cellulite looking skin if you know what I mean and it has faded that a little but all in all this has worked well for me I know everybody is different but for me it is good, my boyfriend takes it too as he suffers with bad backs and when he got out of bed in the morning his feet ached when he stood up but he said this has helped his aches a lot for him. If you were to buy it I think just buy the one for now and see how you get on I don't suffer with allergies to anything so I cant comment on any allergy based questions.. its not suitable for vegetarian's as it does come from the bones of animals but each to their own I guess.... I have tried the red tub... I tend to put that with a herbal tea if I am in the mood to wait for it to dissolve but to be honest that tube is still in my cupboard :) anyway that's all I can think of for my review at the moment but if I can think of anything else I will put it in another review when I buy another.
