Absolute perfect fit! Glad I read reviews and found that we had inherited a pull down Moen kitchen faucet. We bought the house in 2018, never having any problems until finding water on floor! Research confirmed that the correct replacement hose was ordered! A 5 minute install and we are good to go! No leaks ...thank you for all the information with this item!

This replacement hose installed without a hitch. No leaks, either! It saved me $100 plumber call for a ten minute job! And I can't even spell plumer!

I didn't rate the durability of this because I just put it on. However, I did reduce this review by a star because the replacement part has a plastic nipple instead of the brass that actually comes with the original faucet assembly. It's a part that's going to be pulled on multiple times of every single day. I'm not sure why Moen thought plastic was a good move. But who knows, it might last longer. The original hose only lasted 6 years. The charger in it lasted two. Take what you will from that, since I'm reviewing the hose not the faucet but the faucet in question is pictured below. Now as to the replacement hose it was a great price and very easy to swap out with the old one. 1. turn off the water valves under the sink. 2. Turn on your faucet to bleed sitting water and ensure there is no water being supplied to the hose you're replacing. 3. There will still be a little water in the hose, due to gravity, so put a towel under the sink to catch it. 4. In the photos you will see a slender black connector. If you have the same faucet brand just squeeze the two white prongs and push the release out. The nipple will fall right off of the connection. 5. Take the weight of that's the black bulb attached to the hose to make sure it automatically retracts back into the faucet. 6. Pull the hose up through the faucet by the head. 7. Once the hose is out of the faucet, upnscrew the hose from the head of the faucet. You should be able to do this by hand but there are flat sides on the attachment that allow you to use a wrench. Try to avoid pliers. If you are heavy handed you could cause damage. Theale part on the sprayer head is plastic. 8. At this point t you should have three parts on Your counter, the broken hose, replacement hose and faucet head. I used this time to clear the head of debris and calcium deposits with a veggie brush. 9. Screw the new hose onto the faucet head. I used some white plumbers tape and recommend it but it's not strictly necessary. 10. Feed the new hose back through the faucet which is easiest if you let the curve of the faucet match the curve of the hose. 11. Snap the nipple back in place and reattach the weight. I listed eleven steps but it amounts to five minutes of unclip, unscrew, screw, clip. No tools and no muscle needed. Value wise, even if the hose only lasts a couple of years, at thirty bucks and overnight shipping, I would still rate it four stars.

Amazon pestered me to review this hose so here goes... This hose is amazing! It looks just like the original hose that came with the faucet. Not only does it look like the original, it feels and smells like it too! The installation was easy and required no tools. It's great that Moen designed this with a quick disconnect fitting for easy replacement since it is a wear item. Some people complained about the new coupler design being made of plastic or Nylon or Delrin. So what? This is hose is not under pressure when the faucet is off and when it's on the water flows through it without building up pressure. Buy the Moen oriignal part, spend the money, like I did. It makes no sense be a cheapskate and spend a few dollars less on the aftermarket parts seen all over Amazon.

Packaging is all marked moen and it is a genuine hose replacement. Yes, the quick connect end is nylon, but works perfectly and since it’s not a stressed part it should outlast the hose itself. The inner hose is always the weak part and what fails over time. It takes 10 minutes to install and doesn’t leak at either end. It’s a perfect replacement.

This item is an OEM exact replacement for my leaking Moen pull down faucet hose. Installation was super easy and quick. After unscrewing spray head, unclipped counterweight and undid quick-connect to remove old hose through spout. Threaded new hose, locked quick-connect union, attached counterweight, and finished by screwing original spray head to new hose.. Didn't even have to shut off water supply. Next day delivery was appreciated.

My old hose had developed a leak and needed replacement. Supposedly MOEN will provide a replacement hose for free if you still have your receipt for the taps, but since we didn’t have one and needed it fixed right away I elected to just buy one. Removal of the old one and installation of the new one is literally a snap. Since this was just replacing the retractable faucet head hose, there was no need to shut the water off (as long as the tap is in an off position) but not a bad idea to do it - better to be safe than sorry. I pinched the white clip shown in my picture and this allowed me to detach the hose - just pull it up and out through the faucet. I screwed the faucet head into the new hose, dropped the hose down through the faucet and reconnected the hose. Snap the weight onto the hose over the electrical tape(my hose already had a piece of electrical tape on it marking where the weight went) and presto you’re done. Really nothing to it.
