8" Hook & Loop Cable Ties - 50 Pieces - Color: Black

Great cheap alternative to zip ties, and more user friendly. I do find they collect dust and hair easily, but that's somewhat to be expected given where cables live (under desks, etc).

These ties are amazing. They use the same high quality type of velcro as the ties I've received with my anker USB cables, only these ties are much bigger/longer. It has a thin plastic backing with the hooks molded on it, with other side being a soft felt like materiel. This type of velcro has much smaller hooks/loops and much stronger holding strength than normal velcro. This combined with the latch system means these ties can hold some serious weight. I've always used twisty ties for cable management behind my tv/computer but sometimes twisty ties are not strong enough. Zip ties, though very strong, are a pain to remove. These velcro ties give you the best of both worlds with high strength, and very easily removable. For the price I was not expecting this type of velcro, I was thrilled when I saw the quality of these and did some strength tests. Only down side I can think of is they are a bit long for some situations, but honestly with 50 ties to work with, I have no problem cutting a few down to whatever length I need and still have plenty of unused ties remaining. I can't speak for the durability of these ties, but I'm sure the holding strength would deteriorate over time with frequent use. I can imagine someone using these for frequent stage setup for a band might run into issues after awhile, but you can get tons of these for next to nothing, so even if they only last a year of frequent use, still a win in my book.

I use these to temporarily string up lights for parties. I love how they're reusable and easy to use, but I don't like how they stick together so much. When you pack them away you need to take a bit of time to lay them out flat and stack them on top of each other, otherwise you'll end up with a giant tangled ball of velcro that's nigh on impossible to separate.

I've been using this type of tie for several years now and can't figure out how I ever got along without them. They work great in a variety of situations, not just with cables and, best of all, are completely reusable. My biggest gripe about them is how expensive they are, but this set of 50 is affordable. The color variety is a nice feature as well in case you need to color code whatever you are tying down.

I looked around for a good price on cable ties and found these. They are awesome. I have a lot of guitar gear and that involves lots of cables for setting up for gigs. These are great because they are sturdy but not too bulky. They have some really, really good Velcro on them, sometimes you're wishing it would let go and stop slowing you down. I use them to secure all of my cords on my pedal board and I use them to secure all of my individual cables before I pack them away. I will order another pack or two of these as I've already found uses for the first pack. I also use them on some thicker cables and have had to interweave two of them to make the "loop" bigger and that works great as well. Sometimes you really can get a good product at an affordable price.

This is a pretty basic item, but it performs it's task well. Aside from being able to wrap & hold cables effectively, I wanted to make sure whatever I chose would stay attached to the cord when unwrapped, so that I wouldn't lose them whenever they weren't actively being used. These do just that... you wrap the cable tie around the cord and slip the small end of the cable tie through the hole on the other end and secure that in place, then you wrap the cord as usual. When I placed my order, they only had packs of 1 color available, I chose blue, but would have definitely preferred a multi-colored pack so that I could color code... so make sure you know which color selection you are making before ordering if this is important to you.

Excellent, simple, elegant product. These are great cable ties. More substantial than I had expected at an excellent price. Nicely shaped, perfect length. The small loop at the end lets you attach these semi-permanently to a cable; this is great, as they stay with the cable, even when you have it unwrapped. I've found it advisable to re-wrap the cable tie around the cable AFTER unrolling the cable, so that when you're using the cable, the velco strip isn't flopping around. All in all - this is a fairly common product with similar versions available from several vendors, but I can attest that this particular version, from this vendor, is excellent. I will be purchasing more of these, and referring my colleagues and family here as well.

Maybe the 1000's of hours duration is if one is in place and not removed. If you're repeatedly putting one on and off (like with a power cord or mic cord) it may last 100 times; then the velcro wears out and won't stick. Otherwise very useful and convenient for the short duration.
