I wish I knew the technical aspects of these cables. I'm not a technician, but I can say this cable is hands down the best feeling cable I've ever handled. Let's face it, we've all had hundreds of USB cables with most of them being plastic, flimsy things. This cable has a braided fabric around it. It's stiff but pliable, and it feels like it just won't break. It also charges my phone around 2400 mA (I use Ampere to measure this on my Nexus 6P). USB-C is leaps and bounds better than micro-USB. All my micro-USB cables went through a predictable route to failure. It would begin by no longer "gripping" the phone and fall out through gravity. Then it would require me to hold the phone at odd angles to keep it charging, and finally it wouldn't register charging at all. From "wow, this charges great" to "man, this cable is shot" was usually around 2-5 weeks in micro-USB land. USB-C, however, changes that. The connection, itself, is significantly different and always "clicks" into place. Take a great standard like USB-C and combine it with this great cable and you've got a real winner. I'm not the Googler who's doing us all a public service by measuring these things for their technical merits. His review should trump mine. He's the expert. But in my experience, I'm getting fabulous charge rates from a top notch cable at a decent price. I'm happy.

I bought these cables as recommended by Benson Leung's reviews. He has been proving which cables are USB-C compliant. I love these cables! My thoughts: 1. The length of the cable is great. Not a lot of companies make longer cables. I find the standard 3.3 feet a bit short for my taste. 6.6 feet is perfect for me. 2. The cable fits snug into the usb ports of my pc, charger, phone 3. The housing for the connector is an oval shape, which is perfect for the Nexus 6p case. Check your phone cases before buying a cable to make sure it fits well (oval vs. rectangle) 4. I personally do like the braided feel of the cables. 5. I did notice the thickness of the cable is a bit thinner than the other ones I've seen out there. Update: I confirmed the cable is compliant using a tester I highly recommend this cable!

Cable has been great until recently. The cable has started to fray on both ends and it's only a year and a half old... conveniently out of the warranty period. Overall, happy with them but wish the ends were more secure.

These are, simply put, better than any cables bundled with a USB-C device. They are just as reliable as bundled cables, if not more so, and have a very attractive braided look. Most bundled cables are 3 ft so the extra length of 6.6 ft is incredibly handy and you will enjoy the extra room to stretch out if you have a device requiring frequent charging. I was concerned the braided cable would fray but have not seen this at all. Would definitely recommend this cable.

I got this cable so that i could have a long charging cable for my nexus 5x. The cable has been well made. This cable also lets me connect my phone to my computer. I couldn't be happier with this cable.

I've had this cable for a week now, and it works exactly as it should. It fits perfectly into my phone and I have no trouble with the connection for charging/moving files between my phone and my computer. I also really like the length and form of the cable. It feels really premium compared to my other cables. Great experience thus far.

Been using these cables for months now. They're strong and reliable, and the length is great. The corded sheath seems to make them tangle less. Tough enough that only the most determined cat can chew through them.

Slow charging on the phone. The wrappings around the cable fell apart within the first few weeks of using it. It has been 3 months but the charger has completely stopped working for me. Not worth the $$$ for the quality I received

Google pixel USB power delivery working with official charger. full speed charging with Samsung 2A charger. Stays in my overnight bag for visiting family with awkward plug locations. Edit: worked good for a day... Then type-c end burned and my phone no longer charges.... Cost $$$ to fix phone :(

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loved the length but this product did not perform as expected. Only charged his phone half way and would take a long time. I expected this to perform the same as the original that came with his LG G5. Going to look at returning this item 😞
