Took a bit of adjusting, but works very well with my garage heater.

I love this replacement hose/gauge set. I was kinda worried about the PSI rating of flow, but that became inconsequential…you adjust what you need with the knob anyway. It might be an issue for high (max) flow appliances, but none found with my turkey fryer.

I bought this as a backup. It is said 2 is one, and one is none. I could not bare the thought of the old rubber line on my camp chef stove developing a leak and ruining an otherwise perfect cookout. This hearty beauty was installed on first sight. Now the original is the backup player! Regulates LP flow flawlessly, and with the longer hose I was able to set the propane bottle further from the cook area. I was always cautious about hot oil or cookware contact around the original rubber hose that came with the cook chef because I was concerned that it might melt and create a fire hazard, or worse. The braided hose is far more likely to handle my occasional clumsy mishaps with hot anything. And, it is shiny! If you are looking for a backup, do yourself a favor and choose this one. Best price for the value. Get’em while you can.

The hose looks good and looks well made.The issue I had was that the regulator was not functioning correctly.I adjusted it to where there would be a good flame on high and a good flame on low,I had it on medium and it was working fine then like minute later the flame was dying out.So I adjusted it higher and it did the some thing again.So I adjusted it higher to the point where you could hear the gas blowing like a small torch to stay on.I have different brand of regulator that I adjust and works fine.Maybe it was defective but I don’t want to keep messing with it.
