Super food very mild flavor right out of the can.
Pro: Canned Cod liver is very healthy truly a super food. The idea of eating cod liver out of a can is a bit daunting however the Iceland brand is very neutral tasting and easy to eat. Con; The liver texture is soft like a soft tofu I have no problem with it but some my find the texture off-putting and would need to mix it with something like boiled egg yolk with bacon.

Very Nice Quality!
Tastes like & smells like tuna fish, just so you know if you're new to cod livers. I very much enjoy tuna fish so this is good for me! I make a little pate from it by mashing it up with a little avocado-mayo, cream cheese and some herbs & seasonings, like a touch of dill, garlic granules, celery seed and then spread it on a slice of sprouted toast/bread or a cracker with some slices of avocado...and voilà...a tasty healthy little meal that is very high in omega-3 fatty oils and very filling! It is of course quite oily, so I set the pieces on a paper towel, but also do consume the oil for its health benefits. Quality product...was nice and fresh. Cans were intact...no dents or other problems. But just a word of CAUTION! Don't over consume cod livers...space out your consumption so you don't build up too much in your body. I was unaware of this possible vitamin toxicity and developed a rip-roaring headache due to the high Vitamin A and Vitamin D content that is naturally is present in all cod liver...The toxicity is referred to as "vitaminosis A and D"...it's a very real thing! You can research that online for your own edification on signs and symptoms.

Rich and creamy
Creamy liver! Smallish cans, just right for one meal Little fishy at first, then just goodness. You have to like fish I’d say first Serve with twice toasted bread of choice, capers and pickles

mild, creamy
Delicious, mild flavor, creamy texture. I get about 5 servings out of a can. I add it as a supplement to other food. There's only so much vitamin B12 that can be absorbed at one time, so I think I get the most value by spacing it out over multiple days.

A little pricey - but healthy and tasty
This product is awesome - I often use in place of Tuna and use the oil in salads too- tastes good - actually filling and healthy!

EXTREME CAUTION.
EXTREME CAUTION. This product contains **VERY HIGH levels of Vitamin A**, which can build up in your body and become toxic over time. At first you may feel a boost, but the long-term effects can be very damaging. If you want to learn more about Vitamin A toxicity, search for Dr. Garrett Smith on YouTube. His information finally explained everything I was experiencing. This is not a small issue. Please be informed before using this product.
