As a software engineer who’s always looking for healthier alternatives, I picked up the Zevia Zero Sugar Soda Rainbow Variety Pack to see if it could satisfy my occasional sweet tooth without the sugar crash. I’ve been drinking these pretty regularly for about three weeks now, usually in the afternoons when I need a little pick-me-up while working from home, and sometimes with dinner. The main thing that sold me on these was the zero sugar claim, and honestly, they deliver on that. I was a bit skeptical about "naturally sweetened," but the taste is surprisingly good, not overly artificial or syrupy like some diet drinks I've tried. The variety pack is fantastic for trying out different flavors; Cream Soda and Cola are definitely my standouts. I haven't noticed any weird aftertaste, which is a huge win for me. They seem to carbonate well in the cans too, no flat issues so far. Durability isn't really a factor for soda, but the cans arrived in good condition, no dents or anything. One of the biggest decision points for me was whether it would actually taste like soda and not just flavored water, and Zevia really nails that. The flavors are distinct and pretty spot on for their soda counterparts. They mix fine with my usual spirits if I’m having a weekend cocktail, no clashing flavors. Performance-wise, it's a soda, it’s refreshing and fizzy. Pros: The taste is genuinely good for a zero-sugar option, no artificial sweetener funk. The variety pack is excellent for sampling. It’s nice knowing it’s naturally sweetened. Cons: Some of the fruitier flavors, like the Orange, were a little less impactful for my personal taste, a bit too subtle perhaps. And honestly, the price point is a tad higher than conventional sodas, but that’s expected for a niche product. I’d say this is perfect for anyone trying to cut down on sugar, diabetics, or just folks who are health-conscious and don’t want to sacrifice flavor entirely. If you’re someone who expects a super-intense, sugary punch from your soda, you might find these a bit milder, but that’s the point, right? It’s a solid alternative for those of us who want something that tastes good and is better for us.

Received in a timely manner!!! I like this Soda brand better than the others I've tried!!! Only thing is once you get to the bottom of the can the drink gets bitter!!! Otherwise, it's a good drink product!!!

Stevia is a natural sweetener derived from the leaf of the stevia plant and has been used safely for centuries. I have researched artificial sweeteners and distrust their safety. Therefore, I use this brand of carbonated drinks. It has caffeine (most of the flavors in the Stevia brand do not), and I need the caffeine kick. This Vanilla Cola is to me the tastiest flavor (and I have tried all the flavors Stevia offers).

The kids would like root beer occasionally and when we break down to give them a treat this one is on the top of the list. I try not to give them a lot of things with weird food coloring or additives that could hurt the kidneys and this fits the ticket. This tastes better than most root beer without the weird colors or ingredients of other root beer. No caffeine, no sugar, doesn’t make your tummy sore. However Amazon packed this and a bunch of heavy stuff in one box. It was difficult for me to lift the box, and I have no problem lifting heavy things, so I think it could have made it really difficult for our delivery person. I could see how it could have hurt them, so I knocked one star off the review for that.

I can no longer tolerate all the sugar in regular sodas. Zevia brand is great for me. It has excellent flavor with no sugar. I first bought the cola flavor and recently got the black cherry flavor. It’s a bit expensive but worth it to me.

I’m giving this 5 stars just so others can see the truth about the new taste, especially if they’ve read the previous “good” reviews. Unfortunately, the flavor is so not what it used to be. For me, that might actually be a good thing, though. I was so addicted to this soda (Creamy Root Beer) I was thinking about entering rehab lol! But with the new formula, I’m no longer tempted. It’s just not the same. But that's not all, keep reading... The new flavor is honestly pretty gross. I can clearly taste the stevia now, and it has this weird black licorice taste to it. It also tastes like more soda and less root beer. It honestly reminds me of when Coca-Cola changed their formula, and it ruined the drink for a lot of people. I will not buy this soda again.... Very IMPORTANT- after coming here to read the reviews to see what the heck changed with this soda, I now know why my STOMACH has been bothering me recently. Due to stomach comfort from Stevia. Who knew it was bad for your GI tract.. I am definitely not buying this again.

It does not taste like regular soda. Maybe more like sparkling water with a weird Tang to it that comes from the fake sugar. I'm sure it's healthy, and for some I'm sure it's just fine, but there's a lot of other sugar free alternatives that don't have the weird chemistry set flavor.

A wonderful sub for sugared up soda. Truly like better than my favorite, Dr Pepper, which is much too sweet. Won’t use a product with aspartame so this is the better choice with stevia as a sweetener. A bit to over priced but with diabetes you just can’t risk the sugar and there are time you just have to have a soda!
