Seeing at price product is completely justified.
The syrup has a good consistency and tastes like original cocoa, yeah it has a little bit of bitter taste and it's perfectly fine that means the they have used cocoa powder in actual. But don't think it's completely without sugar it has sugar otherwise it won't be usable because of its bitterness.

The syrup tastes like raw cocoa and tastes less sweet than other brand syrups. Also it is not very thick. Somebody who wants sweet taste and thicker syrup shall avoid this.

Rich chocolate taste, thick and perfect for drinks & desserts Tried the Jindal Cocoa Chocolate
Tried the Jindal Cocoa Chocolate Syrup mainly for making cold coffee and milkshakes, and it works really well. The syrup is nicely thick and gooey, so it mixes well with milk and also works great as a topping on ice cream or pancakes. The chocolate flavour is quite rich and not overly artificial. I also liked that it doesn’t contain malt, cornstarch, or trans-fat, which is a good plus compared to many other syrups. Been using it for chocolate milk, cold coffee and dessert toppings, and the taste turns out pretty good every time. Pros: ✔ Thick consistency ✔ Rich chocolate flavour ✔ Works well in drinks and desserts Small Note: If you prefer very dark or bitter chocolate taste, this one is more on the classic sweet chocolate side. Overall, a good and versatile chocolate syrup to keep at home.

Satisfied with timely delivery by Amazone & good chocolate syrup by Jindal.I use it for making hot/cold chocolate milk shake. It's bitter taste is due to cocoa content & it is a good sign of the product.One may use additional sugar to sweeten the milk shake. Over all I like this product considering quality, taste & price. I bought three bottles (each of 650 gm.) for Rs.550.

53% Sugar syrup
☒ There are market alternatives with less sugar percentage. ☒ Has (shockingly) a bitter chocolate taste somehow even with a high 53% Sugar. ☒ Doesn't go well with hot drinks (Drinking Chocolate, Irish coffee etc. ) ☑ Tastes good with milkshakes. ⦾ Competitive pricing - I find this neither cheap nor expensive. Overall I'll recommend to look for alternative brands that offer better taste with low sugar quantity
