Drimaster Eco Heat Positive Input Ventilation Unit With Integral 400W Heater By Nuaire

Before installing this we were waking to windows covered in condensation and outer walls feeling wet. The day after installing windows were only partly condensed. Two days later it’s all but gone. House feels fresher, clothes dry faster, mould on windows is gone and rooms heat faster. Installation was simple, cutting the ceiling needed a good multi tool blade on slow to ensure no cracking. Getting the flexi hose on the fan unit itself was probably hardest part. The fan adds around 13watts to background electricity usage. The heater can be quite expensive to run and added around £1.50 a day to bill when temperature was low. Purchased the 4 way switch separately to turn off the heater as even 5degree air doesn’t cool house down that much

Fantastic, easy to install, quite and doesn't look bad and blends in well. Condensation gone in days, mould disappearing a must have for a clean and healthy lifestyle.

We had wet walls and black mould, a camera test revealed missing cavity wall insulation causing cold spots. Rather than pay thousands to have the insulation removed we decided to by the drimaster piv. We were sceptical, but after 4/5weeks of use we have no damp walls and mould has not returned. So pleased best £500 spent, it really works. We bought the heated version, which cost approximately £1.12 a day, we switched the heat off and the cost is 2p a day and yes there is some cool air directly underneath the unit but it’s not a problem. We installed it ourselves as we have electric in the attic so just fitted a 3amp plug. Very happy with this product.

This has definitely helped reduce the humidity in my house.

Only given 4 stars as not yet installed unit. Very good service. Hopefully it will cure the problem as PIV unit is recommended for air changes 24/7. Installation looks straight forward. For information the vent hose is 2 meters long, could find this out before hand.

This is a game changer difference is huge I used one unit to supply air in the three rooms air quality is great no condensation !!!

We live in a 200 year old listed building. The cost to replace the windows (single sash) would be astronomical. Every morning in the winter I had to use a Karcher Window Vac to remove the water from all the steamed up windows . I came across this PIV on YouTube and was sceptical to say the least. I bought it anyway. The unit is huge but not heavy , just bulky . I installed it in about an hour . The next morning when I got up every window in the house was crystal clear. I'm absolutely amazed and dumbstruck how this PIV unit works. If your house suffers from damp/moisture I highly recommend getting this unit. I live in the far north of Scotland so bought the one with the heater but not sure about the difference between using the non heater version .
