Digitally remastered edition of this 1986 album from the L.A. Hard Rockers. QR III is, as the name suggests, the bands third album and showcases some major changes, not only musically but also on the personnel front; bassist Rudy Sarzo was replaced by Chuck Wright (from Giuffria). Showcasing a far more mature sound, the band introduced keyboards and featured song writing that suggested that they had finally come of age, relying less on simplistic shout-it-out-loud hooks and more on multiple layers of rich melody with impressive muscle. The arrangements were mature without giving way to syrupy lullabies or saccharin ballads. Rock Candy. Review: Good albums - Good album, some really good songs on it. Good albums
Good album, some really good songs on it. One of the over looked quiet riot album.

I like the first two quiet riot cds or albums . they were very raw and loud and proud for heavy metal. you can not go wrong buying these two. quiet riot III was more polished and more music and tended to lose what it acheived in the first two cds. But these one is good and did not get the air play it deserved. but i do recommend it, you can not go wrong

Overlooked Classic
Quiet Riot hit with QRIII in 1986,just three years after their smash Metal Health which put them on the map.QRIII is a great album all around and was also the last album Kevin Dubrow would be on until 1993 when they would reunite for Terrified.QRIII has some outlandish music videos including the killer "Wild and the Young" & one of my fav overlooked songs "Twilight Hotel".If you seen their behind the music you know why this album didnt hit that big,unfortunately because it is such an Amazing album in their catalog.

This is the best album of QR's career, even though it didn't sell very good the passion was there. Rudy should've hung on just a little longer instead of leaving the band before this one. It's an excellent piece of work.

All Quiet Riot Rock Candy Records worth every cent!
Three words for you, ROCK CANDY RECORDS. The sound on here is fantastic and always love the booklet with all the extra info. 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟

The unknown Quiet Riot
Great album, very underrated. They were onto something when they did this album. I think they should have stayed the course for a couple of albums after this and see where it went. The sound of this master is very good.

Great album, but I must stress about this particular remaster. Upon receiving the CD, the first two tracks sounded fine however as the rest of the tracks were played I noticed a drop in sound quality. The vocals in places seemed drowned by the music and the guitar etc sounded very muddy. I wondered if it was perhaps the production of this original release however I resorted to getting hold of the original CD version and compared them. Immediately the original tracks sound clearer and cleaner. Very disappointed in this remaster although the inserts/booklet were top quality. The original of this album is more expensive but it's worth getting between the two.
