I was reluctant to purchase this mat after reading the 1 ⭐ reviews regarding slippage and with this being my 5th mat purchase. I have not had the best luck in finding a mat that would stick to the tub and not be slippery. Personally, my experience with this mat is well deserving of a 5 ⭐ review. I wet the tub, as instructed, and put the mat down. I pressed it all over so it could get adhere to the tub. I then, just gave it a day and used the guest shower. I have taken daily showers since and it has not slipped at all. It is stuck to my tub floor. It has not gotten slippery from the soap either. I feel very secure and stable taking a shower now. It is well made, very durable. Water does not puddle up on it. It fits my tub perfectly and covers the tub adequately. I am extremely happy with this purchase and from my experience, I highly recommend it. It's a thick mat and comfortable standing on.

The thickness, softness, are perfect. Easy to install and doesn't retain too much water. Very easy to clean and does a great job preventing slipping. What I like is that it grips well and doesn't slide around. It prevents hair from getting in drain which prevents clogs and water accumulation. The only thing I would change, is it would be nice if it was big enough to cover the entire bottom of a shower, stall, instead of having areas around the border where you can slip because there's no coverage..

The soft blue color is calm and pleasant, and it matches my bathroom perfectly. The material is thick and feels high-quality—not flimsy like many other mats I’ve tried. The suction is excellent; it stays securely in place and doesn’t slide around, which makes showering much safer. It feels comfortable under your feet, too. Definitely worth the purchase!

Has a very good grip to the shower floor. I hang it on my shower seat after use, it dries quickly. Comfortable to the feet while showering, adds to feeling of security

Quality product, good price. Did have a chemical smell as do all these types of products have, left it outside for a couples of days, used it and the smell was not a problem. Great safety feature for a non-slip environment in the tub. Removes easily for drying and cleaning the tub. No more slip and slide.

Second one i have purchased.Bought the clear. I let it air and flatten over the back of a lawn chair outside for several hours. Smell goes away completely. Lies flat and adheres tightly to the tub surface. I hang it up and lay it on tub rim after each use. First step on it grips it sufficiently to get into tub. Next few steps total grip!

gorilla products fro the most part are reliable, do what they say - like stay in place; not slip around. My mobility has changed nd these are like a stability safe aid for me. This is the second gorilla mat i've bought. i was pleased with the first one lasted 6+ yrs; i would still be using, but i downsize aot. I moved and needed to get this smaller size. Happy with product

Worth buying, serves its purpose

I got this for my aunty who is 70. She had a stroke and can lose her balance, this just helps prevent her slipping in her shower. Great quality.
