Surface Pro 7

I had held back from upgrading my old PC , however during the pandemic it became clear that the long promised upgrade was overdue. After some research( plenty of time) I opted for a surface pro. I was not disappointed. This does everything and more at lightning speed.

The surface pro 7 is excellent. It has a superior feel and is a nice weight while being easily carried around. Its fast and efficient. The spec speaks for itself really

I really tried to like this device, but having owned it for a short time now, I would not recommend it. Would have been better off getting a Samsung Galaxy 7 Plus. The screen color and quality are good, it's rather lightweight, and sound is not too bad, but that's where the positives end I'm afraid. The touch screen is not good, its sensitivity and accuracy with fingers are inconsistent and annoying. Performance is slow even with NOTHING installed. Windows 10 is NOT ready for a touch screen so everyday use is clunky and uncomfortable. Wifi connection is mediocre. On screen keyboard doesn't show up when needed and it's laggy. I had to do a LOT of config to diable weird automatic features that were very annoying, for example flickering and random changes in screen brigtness. I had an old HP tablet and it worked better as a touch device than this one. I was hoping the Surface brand is good but I guess MS is still MS... Sorry.

I was seriously disappointed with this device, its very laggy an slow the battery life last 2 hours if ur lucky even just using a simple app sucks the life out the battery so it last nowhere near whats suggested and the seller support with delivery was very poor, this item came from germany so we got hit with over 100 in customs charge for a device this poor. Not worth the money

Battery life very bad

Whenever I try to turn the front camera on for zoom meeting, the whole windows crashes and then restart even then the front camera doesn't turn on so I keep my camera off in fear that it'd crash the whole windows during a meeting and I'll be out the zoom meeting until it restarts, even though we strictly told by uni to keep it on. I mean the price is so high and it's unable to do the most basic task. When I first bought it, I noticed this issue but didn't think anything of it as I thought an update will resolve it. There has been a number of updates since I bought this machine and the problems persist.

This device is so light and really responsive with the latest Intel processor. boots up in seconds and is a windows laptop thats actually really stylish :) really happy with it.
