The item is shipped pretty bare in the box, so unreliable delivery companies are likely what caused the most damage for the other reviews. Mine showed up in a great condition, and after wiping a little factory oil off the outsite, everything seemed perfect. It is quite large but the locking mechanism seems solid, it has good hinges, and is simple to use.

My small saf e is perfect to protect my personal items.

This is a nice safe and seems very sturdy. Like all safes it is heavy. I wish they had put a handle on it. It is awkward to pick up and hard to carry because of not having a handle.

I really like this Safe. It fits perfectly in the closet. It is sturdy made. Fire retardant and flood protection. It seems small but it can take more than the eye meets. Ideal to keep your documents (letter size) small valuables items like jewelry , passport, etc.

The safe was more bulky than what it appeared online, and the top did not seem to close real tight, which led me to believe that it would be easy to pry open. The safe does look really nice and I’m sure it is very durable but I didn’t feel comfortable with it and I went with something else.

As with other reviewers, I found this safe very heavy and cumbersome, and with no handle, difficult to move. However, I don't go into it very often, so I put up with that inconvenience. I also found the locking mechanism a bit tricky, where it would often take several attempts to unlock or relock it. That was also an inconvenience, but I put up with it for the sake of having my documents protected. Now, however, I have a real issue with this safe. I put some documents into it, went to lock it, and somehow the tubular key came out of the lock halfway between the "lock" and "unlock" setting. What the bleep??? Fortunately, it was in the unlocked mode and I have my documents, but HOW did that happen?? I see I'm not the only one... Hoping for a better resolution from SentrySafe than others have had. UPDATE: I went onto the SentrySafe website and filled out the "Contact Us" info regarding the problem I have. I submitted the form. About 15 minutes later, I got a bounce back email that the message could not be sent. AWESOME customer service - NOT! Don't waste your money on this product.

Das Aufschließen ist teilweise recht schwer bis geht gar nicht! Ist aber sehr wahrscheinlich der Dichtung gegen eindringendes Wasser geschuldet! Mein Mann kniet sich auf Höhe des Schloßes auf die Box und dann lässt sie sich problemlos wieder aufsperren! DIN A4 geht ohne Probleme rein, natürlich ohne Folie! Mehr gibt es, zum Glück, nicht zu berichten! Wir hatten bisher weder Feuer - noch Wasserschaden im Haus 🍀

Nice case to keep documents safe, I wished it had a handle though. But apart from that it’s great.

Anyone can open it with a very slight press down on the safe itself then press the button and surprise your password is useless! Very disappointed with this product and I’ll never buy from this brand again

I thought for the low cost of this, it would be flimsy - but it's not. It's quite excellent quality and very sturdy.
